What you say is true.
I was able to learn a lot from them.
I enjoyed myself.
A few of them I would like to call friends.
It was just becoming obvious I had done that all I could.
It was best I just leave.

Whether it makes sense or not, I am frustrated they couldn't learn more from our exchanges.
