Abortion is the modern equivalent of slavery. A fetus, which is defined as baby, is considered her property to do with as the mother pleases. This has nothing to do with freedom. Socialists despise freedom, since freedom comes with responsibilities.

French study finds hydroxychloroquine doesn't help patients with coronavirus

According to those tards at UD it’s not just effective, it’s a cure.

50,000 studies in 18 different fields of science show evolution’s happening and they go “nope not proven”, two very sketchy French studies with no controls and tiny n come out and Trump mentions it and they say case closed!

Fucking dolts.  :D  :p  :)

Christ but PaV is a single digit IQ asshole.  He 's back with another "Coronavirus is a fraud!" OP at the Dense Place.  This time he's using California as his example.  Because CA implemented drastic measures 2 1/2 weeks earlier in the pandemic than other states they were able to  cut the infection rate / number of deaths to 1/10 of the NY numbers.  To PaV that's evidence the whole pandemic and shelter-in-place lockdown was a staged plot by the Democrats.

PaV is the kind of idiot who would have his house catch fire, have his neighbors call the Fire Department and save the whole block, then bitch calling the FD was unnecessary and just an alarmist plot to cost him money.

You can expect a lot more of "rational thinking" in line with PaV's bullshit in the coming months.

This was taken from inside the Ohio Statehouse. A protest being held to demand the shelter-in-place order from the Governor be lifted based on the same thinking as PaV because Ohio acted earlier and counts are low.

This is is from Lansing, Michigan, a planned in-vehicle protest to jam downtown and surround a major hospital and in at least once instance police had to intervene because they blocked an ambulance from reaching the emergency entrance. It was called “Operation Gridlock” and apparently organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition. The top of the jammed ambulance can been seen in the second photo.

Michigan also had a similar protest as Ohio held at their Statehouse.

The same thing occurred, more or less, in North Carolina when the hashtag "ReopenNC" started trending. It began in a private Facebook group but has since been amplified overnight by known Russian bot accounts. The Russian trolls have been shit-stirring in the West since this whole thing began.

Expect a lot more of this "rational thinking" to come.

That reminds me of the Y2K thing a couple decades ago. If enough resources are put into a problem ahead of the climax, all that happens is prices go up. (And inflation isn't visibly attached to any one problem, even though most big problems probably contribute to it.)

Just to be clear it's not mine, though I don't expect anyone to have thought that. There was no attribution at the place I swiped it from so I went searching just now and it looks like this guy is probably the source. (higher res version there to boot)

Also, I should mention that I've seen the "ambulance was blocked" thing contested by some right wingers claiming that the fire chief (in one instance) and police chief (in another) has denied that happened. That at most, a few ambulances were "inconvenienced". I haven't seen that confirmed either way anywhere. So there's that, grain of salt and all.

Nice one.

I see now that the term is older than I thought. There's even a subreddit that's been active with that name for 29 days now.

I'm still totes taking credit for capping that "D" though.

Jerry, I am thinking we have been seriously mis-taught. Here, regarding experiment design, observation/clinical studies and linked statistics. At root is a Cartesian doubt issue, leading to imagining hyperskepticism to be an intellectual virtue. At basic stats level, I am wondering if a little ANOVA blocking by plots and treatments with “variances add” tossed in might at least give a glimmer of possibilities? Some exploratory data analysis? Some introduction to graphing tools? Esp tools that build on spreadsheets? Maybe, some systems analysis, use of block diagrams and i/o analysis? I am left to wonder. KF

And I, too, am left to wonder. What værnes is he on about?

It's not a real experiment unless you have spreadsheets and block diagrams. You have to open Word and Paint or you're just not a professional.

Imagine thinking that Trump's motives here are for the benefit anyone but himself. Not only has there been no evidence provided that he has actually donated his salary, even if you grant him the benefit of the doubt all he's done is turn his salary into a tax write-off that's intended as PR aimed at those who don't think too hard about it. He's not actually coughing up a single cent.

That smudge has never possessed a philanthropic motive in his life. In fact he abused the system so much that his entire immediate family is now barred from running any sort of charity in the state of New York. FFS
