Henry J Posts: 5786 Joined: Mar. 2005 (Permalink) Posted: June 09 2007,16:40    The problem (one of them, anyway) is that the word "design" has been overused by scam artists who do use it to imply the presence of a designer (while occasionally denying that they're implying this), and this has attached a whole lot of baggage to the word that gets in the way when somebody else tries to use it to mean simply what parts, how they're arranged, how they interact, and how this affects the future of the "designed" object (or its species).
