Doc Doc Doc Bill, "unwashed masses" means poor or working class. Your father was a university professor, your mother owned an art gallery, you went to a private prep school and you had about eighteen years of college. You're not an unwashed anything, you're an elite snob.
I hate to call most right wing pontificators liars because, "ignorant, opinionated, deluded and contemptuous of all others" is much more accurate, but dammit Bill, you know who your parents are and how much has been given to you, so you're just a liar.
