No one is arguing that anyone is well served by educators who don't know or care what's going on in their fields.
What we are arguing here is that you are one of those people who doesn't know what's going on in the relevant fields. You appear to care, but that caring is at the same level of a crow's 'appreciation' for shiny objects.
