On the misunderstandings of evolutionary theory at UD: the anti-essentialism of population thinking is one thing they do not grasp. Another is that taxa above the species level aren't real entities -- they're just labels assigned to similarities and differences between species. This comes through in their constant raving about "body-plans" -- as if body-plans are something that needs to be explained over and above speciation.
Or am I wrong, and there's a serious scientific debate here?

I concur; UD should be allowed to die of its vileness - hypocrisy, dishonesty, bullying, hatred and misrepresentation of science. As we have witnessed last year, when UD was boycotted by sane commenters after Bully Bannington's mass banning, the regulars either turn silent or against each other.
