In fairness to Chubs, perhaps the "they" who convinced him to run for library trustee are, in fact, a different group than the voters-at-large who, Chubs now says, don't know him very well.
Perhaps.
Or perhaps not.
Somehow, I have a shortage of fucks to give with respect to investigating this burning mystery…
