And as if to make my point for me, I now find Mullings, inside of someone elses posts, with the loudspeaker from the sky:

I am in no mood to put up with such manipulations.

Good day

PS: If the thread derails, I will gavel discussion and request evaluation of posting privileges for offenders. Having had my family threatened mafioso style, I am in no mood to entertain the trifecta fallacy atmosphere poisoning distractive game.

F/N: Useful research, and as already noted, pay particular attention to the case of the Melanesian vs the Greek vs the Modern Western patterns. Ch 1 is a good initial discussion.

Shameful, oppressive, totalitarian behaviour.

Edited for format.

ok, you got me - what the heck is this "bydand"?  At first I thought that was the name of a commenter (not having gone to those discussions), but now it looks like that is part of his signature.  Anyone help?

How they say "Leroy Jenkins" in Montserrat.

Ok - now I remember seeing Gordo rant about his ancestors and their fighting spirit.  I guess a cry of "Cheetos!" was not what he wanted to use (and maybe JoeG has already used it), so he went looking for something to make him seem more macho.

Got it.

ETA - I forgot to say Thanks.

El Gordo in a kilt. <shudders/>[/quote]
That reminds me of an old Spanish phrase from somewhere, that I am probably screwing up, but something like "El Gordo Y Flaco" - which coupled with your reference brings "El Gordo is Flaccid" - an even worse picture.  I need to bleach my mind!

But what good is pain if it can't be shared!

edit - I think my memory corrupted a name of a tv show on Univision or one of the Spanish-language channels in my area...maybe.  Memory can be tricky.
