Of course StephenB doesn't know that the publishing company Springer published a well-known series of yellow-colored books on mathematical topics. Instead he thinks there's such a thing as Springer's Graph theory, a subject of which he claims to "know  enough about it". Bwahaha. What an ignorant liar.

Another excellent set of short math topics are the Sage Publications series in "Quantitative Application in the Social Sciences."

I was amused to see that Google still returns a few relevant hits for ""Gary Hurd" +graph." Eg. Gary Hurd & Bonnie Jenkins (Medical College of Georgia), "Applications of graph centrality in psychiatric diagnosis ."
