I've had a late (and therefore interesting) hummingbird in the yard the past couple of days. Even more interestingly, it seemed to have a slightly downcurved bill, which is not typical for our typical hummer here, the Ruby-throated Hummingbird. So I got some pics of it. Those pics showed me that this is indeed just a young, probably male, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, based on the structure of the primaries in the wing.
