It's quite common for software programers, technicians, trades people, craft workers to call themselves Engineers whereas a Biologist must be degree qualified to be called a Biologist.

Along with all his petite bourgeois bluster and underwhelming achievements, DT remember seems to think biology is akin to stamp collecting and pipetting.
