Note the disparity between what you claimed above, and what mods and admins have said at IIDB, below, Dave.
Note also that this type of "spin" that you tried here is why I called you a lying, fundamentally dishonest coward.

It's not our prefferred method of dealing with things. One reason is, as RBH noted here http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.php?p=5012617, that afdave was creating a lot of work for us mods.
I had a long response in afdave's last QP&C thread that the admins considered inappropriate. I won't repeat all that, but suffice to say, that afdave's behavior when issued any kind of official moderator warning, or PM request, was invariably to complain in some way, deny that he did anything to break the rules, and almost inevtiably whine to the admins (as he bragged about in some of his posts), it is unlikely that any real complaints he might have would be taken seriously. He's the poster child of the boy who cried wolf.

There's a link in that cite that leads to RBH saying that you had DOUBLE DIGIT infractions in a short time and TRIPLE-DIGIT complaints on posts.
But you claim this is really because "scientists look bad" due to your cleverness?
