Louis: what do you think is the best way to pinpoint legit misogynists: filter intelligently and sieve out the woman-haters, or just label anyone not agreeing with you as a misogynist?

Really?

Are those my only choices? Thank you generous friend for all those options!

Although anyone who says things like:

"Women have plenty of positive attributes. But they're not angels, and when it comes to what sexually attracts them, even the nice, well-bred ones are more insanely twisted, from the male perspective, than the average serial killer."

as that "source" Vox Day approvingly quotes says, has got to be a bastardly good candidate.

Anyway, Phil, you seem under the impression that a) I agree with everything the people commenting at Pharyngula said about you and others and b) I agree with all their methods all the time.

I don't. I've said I don't. Repeatedly.

So please don't attempt to make little straw men out of things I'm saying. You're confused, go back and read, because I have not labelled anyone a misogynist for disagreeing with me and the very idea I would do so is beyond preposterous.

Louis,

I take it that you took that bolded "you" as meaning you personally. I took it differently, I thought it was a generalist thing.

Either way, it's not exactly a choice now is it? Since when would I advocate the labelling of anyone who disagrees with me personally or generally, or indeed any argument I might make, as a misogynist?

Since never is the answer!

SD has offered a false dichotomy, one in which the second choice is something only a lunatic would advocate and which I certainly have not advocated or defended.
