I was running for the bus last night, tripped in the bus station and broke my finger landing on some concrete steps. Ouch. Went to the emergency room this morning and took along Signature in the Cell to read during the inevitable periods of waiting.

The doctor finally came in, and looked at the book. "What are you reading? Oh, I was afraid it was that!"

Bedside manner: 0
Brutal honesty: priceless

I explained that I was reading it to critique it, etc. We eventually had an interesting conversation.

So which was more painful: breaking the finger, or reading Signature in the Cell?

There isn't any probability that the letter d is in the word "mathematics"...  The correct answer would be "not even 0" - JoeG
