So Larry, if Barbara Forrest's lecture (and notifying colleagues thereof) was a criticism of religion, then you must consider ID a religious idea. <p> If ID is a religious idea, then it is unconstitutional to teach it as science in a science classroom. Case Closed. No neutrality required. The rules are very clear.</p> <p> However if ID is <b>not</b> a religious idea then it should stand or fall on its own scientific merits. Again, no neutrality required. If the scientific process says it's good science, it is, if it says it isn't, it isn't. </p> You're playing a semantic shell game with the use of the word "neutrality" that doesn't stand up to scrutiny.
