evopeach Posts: 248 Joined: July 2005 (Permalink) Posted: Oct. 07 2005,09:15    The Poisson distribution is a decent predictor of radio active decay activity as in geiger counter clicks etc. for a given lamda or prob per sec of a decay occuring. N=Nsub0 e**-lamda t/Tsub1/2life  lambe is assumed to be 0.693 over the entire decay period, not necessarily true.
