Albatrossity - I like your "Say No To UD Day" idea. Why don't you suggest it at ATBC, pick a date or two, and we'll see what happens. We might also consider doing this via PM, so we don't tip our hand, and it will be more of a surprise... Too bad we missed Dr. Dr. Demsbski's birthday. Anybody know when Davey's is? It looks like the traffic from Oz equals the traffic from the US! The population of Australia is less than 10% of the US population; are there that many loonies in Oz? Re the "Say no to UD day" it looks like you could detect a daily drop in traffic with the data shown at the Alexa site. It might be tough to keep the secret from the tardmeister; he would undoubtedly try to bump up traffic that day! UD was basically unheard-of, and perhaps as a result of Kitzmiller, its popularity spiked up at the end of 2005. It had its best times in 2006, but, as Intelligent Design has failed to accomplish anything, UD has been sinking all year. Panda's Thumb has declined too, as the threat of ID has withered.

You're going to need to have a "No UD YEAR" for me to be able play. I simply never read UD, it's just too stupid and asinine both in content and commenters. I waste too much time playing the interweb anyway (i'm not going to even try for a high score). I reckon though that we should have one designated tard proof individual who checks up on those sneaking swine daily though. Just in case we miss any "parodies" and such like. Instead of a Christmas Tree, people will gather 'round the Floating Command Center and exchange Tardmas Gifts. 3.)  It become Tarmas tradition to always insist to your fellow celebrants that  they ignore reality.  For example, you serve a nice merlot, and insist to your guests that it is a Wicked Pale Ale.   4.) Rather than sending vacuous Holiday Cards, you will send letters and memos to your boss and friends accusing them of something, and then a day later send retraction, or, P-A-R-O-D-Y, or "street theater" letters.
