Unlike the AtBC denizens, the UD commenters swallowed it hook, line, and sinker. I've saved the page in case they try to delete those comments. Comments like this one:

Clearly, Lilley has betrayed the stated mission of the University which is to become a first tier University while maintaining its Christian Identity. Robert Sloan, for all his faults, believed in the mission but did not have the courage to maintain it. Apparently, Lilley does not even believe in it at all.
I would not want to guess whether he is a real Christian or not. The world is full of nominal Christians who allude to their faith even as they promote nothing but secular values. They love having it both ways?that?s they way they get libraries named after them. By the way, has anyone visited the Lilley Library at Penn State Erie.

Presumably Lilley is a Christian. Does he realize the people he is pandering to think he?s a blithering idiot for believing in Christianity?

Well, apparently judges now decide what is or is not science/religion. And the president of Baylor doesn?t see the need to explain his motivations - referring to the ruling will do.
The hostility coming through in that letter is surprising.

So the ACLU now dictates what is science at Baylor?
Do the good Baptists of America realize a hard core Darwinist and sock puppet of the ACLU is President of their leading uinversity?
