No, the flounder is just a red herring.

You might need a tincture of agit-prop to catalyze the process.

Someone should mention to him that it is against the law to teach ID in school.

Donald "Angry Cheeto" Trump is to the USA, what Hitler was to Germany, and what Mussolini was to Italy. All three worked from the same playbook.

Mullings in one of his WTF OPs defending his pet FIASCO concept:
Quote
So, when something as intuitively obvious and easily demonstrated as configuration-based, functionally specific complex organisation and/or associated (explicit or implicit) information — FSCO/I — becomes a focus for objections, that is an implicit sign of its central importance and potential impact on the prevailing a priori materialism school of thought.

So, if I think that something is intuitively obvious, like the universal attraction women have towards me, then the more women disagree with what I think is intuitively obvious, the more likely it is to be true. This thought won't help my love life, but it makes me feel better. Thanks Gordo.

Somehow, I think that to Mullings, "intuitively obvious" is synonymous with "sadly delusional".

I like the links because back in the day when they'd have two dozen people commenting on half a dozen threads that they were letting run 500, 800 comments, it was a nightmare to follow everything happening there and here. Now that Uncommon Descent seems to be almost deserted, it's not so important, but it's still nice.

So chrystals and snowflakes have ‘complexity’ but no ‘specificity’? And if crystals lack ‘complexity’ because they are repeated molecules, can they gain, develop, evolve, complexity?

You are saying some things are plainly designed because they have, ‘complexity’ and ‘specificity’? You, that is Kairos, have taken Dembski’s CSI and invented a new acronym FSCO/I, to what end exactly? To convince whom exactly?

Design detection appears to be your goal, and what happens when you detect design? Will you use the eternal science stopper; ‘no need for further investigation, the designer has left Her/His/Its undeniable mark’?

At some point you must realise no one, but us here, are paying attention. Being noticed, and being popular are two massive motivations that Darwin realised are central to compitition, survival, and evolution.

Thank you for proving our case!

You waste a lot of ink repeating the same thing, and each time you expect a different outcome? This is the defintion of something that escapes me at the moment.
am i wrong in thinking that rvb8 and a few others are getting away with stuff they wouldn't have a year ago?

Running the obvious search on YouTube brought up this....

       Attack of the Tumbleweed

Since another video that was turned up was "Tumbleweed Invasion", we might have an explanation for KF's maps.

A few days ago someone on twitter suggested that if you are invited to a Halloween party, you should turn up, break everything & then just say you've come as 2016.

Remember at the start of the year when we were bemoaning 2016 taking such great musicians? Turns out, they were just the warm-up act.

I don’t know about all this as I believe Daniel’s 70th week was fulfilled by our Lord and the Apostles to Israel in the first century. As for the ‘Anti Christ well again it is a matter of interpretation and I do not subscribe to John Darby’s Dispensationalism. There have been and are many antiChrists. Many people in other traditions not Western thoroughly believe Mohammed was The Antichrist and judging from the behavior of his followers it has more credence than thinking the Clintons and Obama are The AntiChrist. To be sure, they are anti christian and therefore anti Christs.

I am of the opinion that just before the Lord returns there will be a persecution of christians that has never been seen before, this is happening all over the world (Israel is still a big persecutor of christians btw) and is only barely beginning here. Look around and watch as the evil Clinton gang take the WH again. I wished Trump would win, but I don’t know if he will. Once the Supreme Court is changed to the left the rights we have now will disappear along with the Constitution. A state’s rights issue becomes a new meaning of marriage? Folks, it’s gone and not even Trump could fix it, the American people are mired in sin as are too many in the Church. I personally believe Clinton will start WWIII, but that’s just me.

As for UFOs being demons, maybe, but I also worked in the defense industry and many of the UFOs are our own high tech. Look up Nassikas quantum thruster. Who knows what is going on? It is all speculation and the demonic connection to UFOs does have some evidence behind it, but not all have been messing with the occult.

“whereas the basic architecture of life is inherently linguistic.”

Fish don’t talk, they’re alive. Come to think of it so are trees, with an abundent lack of language.

Is someone now going to mock my poor understanding of the use of the word, ‘linguistic’?

Memory Foam mattresses are not living, got it. But they exhibit a property of memory, in returning to an original shape, got it, I think.

These material things that go back to an original shape are not actively choosing this, but are merely obeying physics; got it, I think.

These things bare no resemblance to ‘Biological memory’!

Really? Biology follows different physical laws to Memory Foam? Which ones? Nobels in the offing.
