Hello, my name is Freddie and I am a tardaholic.

It's 15 days, 5 hours and 27 minutes since I last visited UD.  That's all I have to say.  Thank you for listening.

Joe: As for the authors of the books in the Bible, well the OT was authored by Moses and the NT was authored by various people.

UD Server Upgraded
Quote
We hope you have noticed that UD is loading now faster than ever just in time for our 10,000th post.  We have just today completed a major server upgrade.  Thank you for your continued support.

BTW, that little “Donate” button you see on your right is how we keep our virtual doors open.  If this site has been useful to you, please consider a contribution today.

wtf? I thought it was their new corporate sponsor "President" Bully K Arrington of morally bankrupt lawyer fame (now gracing the arse-end of every UD post with adverts to his alternate non-science ego) who was  keeping the virtual doors open with his own money, and definitely not the other way round!1one.

UD is celebrating their 10,000th post.

All the uncommonly dense thread comments here add up to appx 67,600.

good times had by all. Someday I'll tax my PC by trying to do a rough word count on the total number of words we've expended making fun of them.

Not strictly true.  Their 10,000th post was some time ago.  It is their 10,000th undeleted post.

Given the prolific bloviation of kairosfocus, ba77, vjtorley, and several other UD regulars, I wouldn't be surprised to find the word count of those 10,000 posts to be higher than that of AtBC's 67,600.

The ratio of logical points made to word count would be a different story.

Although given the number of comment free posts then the total number of comments would not be that great.

So, if a known intelligence used DNA to inscribe a message... that actually reduces the probability that an intelligence designed DNA originally.

Tell, you what, if anyone finds the text of the Bible, in the original Hebrew, in a random organism's DNA, then I will count that as evidence that God exists and is the designer.
