Tomorrow I'm having surgery to have a hernia repaired. Just in case things go badly: I uploaded the latest ID-Lab code, to the usual link.

https://sites.google.com/site.......ary.zip

Don't trust the doctor, he's just part of the conspiracy to oppress you.

Oh, that's right, you just deny when it protects your various delusions.

Glen Davidson

I would only get nervous where he came into the operating room with a plan to shake a "rattle of natural selection" while dancing around until the hernia mutated itself away.

Thankfully there is more appropriate theory than Darwinian theory, for such procedures. I find that very comforting.

Oh, you don't know the evolutionary reason men get hernias so readily.

Not that I'd expect you to, noting your considerable store of ignorance.

Charles Darwin was the first to discover that men have testicles?

Do ostriches have the same risk for hernias that men do?

Why, or why not?

And, a design explanation would be nice to have.  For anything in life, indeed, but especially for the descent of the testes.

The corners around Gary's way are too lonely for him, he might have  tried door to door preaching. In any case he's now doing door to door stumping on blogs. It's sort of like doing a sad clown gig in the big tent, no doors slam in his face.

I still want to know why we were "designed" to have hernias. In fact, I want to know what incompetent designer decided to place the internal organ necessary for reproduction on the outside of the body. Please tell me it is not just to allow America's Funniest Home Videos to exist.

Thats on the order of 10 posts a day, every day, for the last 3 years.

I can honestly say that the ID websites are now more help than ever keeping up what's happening in science that I need to know about. And Larry helps alert me to what I absolutely need to carefully study. So with all considered, all is still going as well as I hoped it would go.

Really, Gary?  You hoped to be laughed at by a few dozen people on the internet, and ignored by every other scientist?  After years of flogging your "theory" you hoped to have no supporters at all?  You couldn't even find any takers at Uncommonly Dense, for crying out loud.

I didn't know the bar could be set that low.  Did you dig a trench?

Yes. Below the belt but above the crotch. Women would call that "just above the bikini line".

And it hurt after the nerve block and pain medication wore off, so I'm now taking what was prescribed as directed, instead of trying to do without.
