Re "How do you “know” you have a brain? Have you seen it?"

Same way you know that about any internal organ - heart, lung, stomach, etc.

And I've seen it on an MRI. Unless the doctors were lying to me and doctored the image.

Well, they were doctors.

What do each of those numbers mean? Is the big number position on a list in descending order of number of accesses? What's the single digit number?

Hehe, yeah. An oldie but a goodie. John Clarke and Bryan Dawe were hilarious together.

Sadly, we lost Clarke a couple of years ago. He had a heart attack while out on a trail heading up Mount Abrupt in Grampians National Park. He was a comedic treasure.

Aligns well with YeC creation science once one understands all the science in max avail context, The ice ages spanned from 1657 till about 1996 anno mundi, as set it cause in effect due to the Mabul impacts year, aka global flood by Noach, when those caves were formed, so that 150k asserted habitation span calibrates to under 340 years and about 10 generations, culminating just prior to the dispersion from Bavel. Which was under 4k YA just prior to the founding of Egypt by Mizrayim b. Ham (consensus inflates that by 1 Sothic cycle, 1400 years rounded..)
reference the YeC Moshe Emes series for Torah and science alignment.

Pearlman: "The ice ages spanned from 1657 till about 1996 anno mundi"

Yep, seems like just twenty four years ago we had to shovel a mile thick glacier to get to work.  Those were the days.  It's strange how so few people remember that.

"Anno mundi" would mean "Year of the World", so years since the creation.

So is that since the Big Bang, or since a gas cloud condensed to form the Earth?

I guess that's one explanation for Teh Fludd.

In fairness, the term "anno mundi" likely indicates that Pearlman is talking about the number of years after Creation. Since YECs typically think the Earth was created about 6K years ago, "from 1657 till about 1996 anno mundi" prolly means something like "from 4,400 years before the present, to 2,000 years before the present".

Which isn't any better than your interpretation, of course. But at least it's a different flavor of crazy.

We have just witnessed a miracle. Our local narcissist, Joe, has just admitted a mistake and apologized. I almost had a heart attack.

Joke: "I hate the taste of crow. Apologies to “Ed George”."
