... and breed.

I should have qualified: no-one in the reality-based community takes them seriously.

Using BA77 parlance, further to this:

Probabilities in the evolution sense do come into play in that evolution can only work on existing variation. Only time can provide more variation.

Much in the same way that ET can only respond with the same parroted catch phrases and insults. On occasion he can vary them (probably due to random mutation) but the changes are limited by the IQ of ET. Baby steps for baby minds. 🙂

of course the next five replies on the site are from ET, who lacks all self-awareness :D  :)  :p

KF, you are invoking the fallacy of consequences. If X is true the consequences are unthinkable. But what are the consequences if right and wrong is societally subjective and not objective? We could have things like slavery, institutional racism, child labour, the holocaust, abortion on demand, the persecution of homosexuals, same sex marriage, legalized spousal abuse, child sacrifice, etc. Etc. Well, guess what? We have had all of these.

You may not like the consequences of right and wrong being societally subjective, but pretending that this is not true is just believing the illusion you repeatedly talk about in Plato’s cave. I prefer to acknowledge reality and strive to develop a society that is best for all.

If it's not subjective, who would get to decide what the rules are that everybody else would then have to follow?  :O

Let’s imagine everything in your post was true, ET. None of that would change the fact ID demised, passed, bereft of research and basically an ex-movement. Would it?

Oh yeah, Minus? I just checked Bio-complexity, the ID "science journal", and while technically they haven't published one single thing in 2019, if they had, you and your evolution would have been Destroyed!

Their cunning plan is to outsource their rhetoric  ....ur question begging to the fundy backwash at UD. It's free and has  unlimited lemmings. The controversy over ID has diminished, and thus the traffic, but is this because ID is dead or because it has won?
As I have mentioned before, at least in my in person interaction with atheists, the latter seems to be true. No one takes purposeless evolution seriously anymore, except for a few religious people who are trying to seem ‘with it’ to a few of their secular colleagues, and mass murderers and serial killers.

What world do these people live in?

The journal Evolution, one of several journals for evolutionary biology, has published 93 research papers so far this year. BioComplexity, the ID flagship “peer reviewed” journal, has published zero. If evolution science didn’t stop publishing research after they became the predominant theory, why did ID stop publishing after they “won”?

obviously the intelligent design people are nowhere near as capable of doing research as actual biologists, who publish hundreds of papers a month, but how does ID compare to other pseudoscience?

Answers Research Journal published 21 "research papers" in 2018.
Bio-Craplexity published 3.

Answers Research Journal has published 8 "research papers" so far in 2019.
Bio-Craplexity has published 0.

The ID cranks are losers even compared to other crackpots.

Those with the money decide what research can get done and therefore what gets published.

Correct. And the Discovery Institute is funding ID research, through the Biologic Institute. It seems to have at least 5 staff members, but their output is minimal, especially as so many are senior: from the start of 2018 they have a total of 5 articles listed on Google Scholar (found by searching for “Biologic Institute”, and then manually checking the results). I’ve published more than that myself in the same time (and I bet the Biologic Institute fellows don’t have to do a semester of teaching as well!;).
