Re "Will it lose more heat each night if the outside temp is 30 or 40?"

Yes.

Re "What happens if you keep adding the same amount of heat to the room each day, but it doesn’t cool all the way back down every night because you lost less to the outside?"

Your power bill will go up.

R744 (Carbon dioxide)

R744 is environmentally friendly, having zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and minimal GWP (Global Warming Potential). It also has excellent thermodynamic properties and low energy usage making it suitable for a range of applications such as industrial heat extraction, chilled warehousing, shipping vessels, commercial refrigeration, and mobile air conditioning. One major difference between R744 and other refrigerants is its pressure/temperature characteristic: because of its high pressure and low critical temperature, refrigeration systems require special equipment designs.

So who or what designed di-hydrogen monoxide? Walt Disney maybe? (i.e., what does a diagram of an H2O molecule look like)

The Designer of the universe. What else is there? Water just happened to luck into an almost perfect universal solvent?

How many solids are less dense than their liquid form? How many solids could float on their liquid form- in great big chunks?

I am sure the fish are happy that lakes don't freeze from the bottom up.

silicon, gallium, germanium, antimony, bismuth, plutonium, bismuth, acetic acid.

Acartia is over on Darwin's God claiming it never had plutonium on the list of substances that are more dense as a liquid.

What a fucking lowlife it is

And yet you still claim ice is not H20

Liar, I never made that claim.

Where, Exactly, Is The Man-made Climate Problem?

Can't tell from the data...

What happened to the herbal medicine quack / AGW "expert" you were pimping over at your shithole blog?

Since when is paid climate change denier shill Watts a source of valid scientific information?   :D

Only impish faggots attack the person- the wrong person at that- and ignores the science and that data.

Enter timmy

HAH!  It always comes down to Joke running from the science and flinging homophobic insults at his betters, doesn't it?   :)

What science am I running away from?

Moar walkie talkies Joe.

So you can't say. Figures

Joe's theory of walkie talkies shows carbon dioxide doesn't cause global warming.

Got it.

Wow, you are a desperate little faggot.

Good job

ASSF.

Yes, you are a desperate little faggot.

Only faggots claim frequency = wavelength.

Only faggots don't understand English and context.

Hey dumbfuck the Earth's average surface temperature is 13 deg. C

The Earth's average atmospheric temperature is 16 deg. C

What will happen to the average surface temperature when the average atmospheric temperature rises due to addition CO2 re-radiation of energy?

Willfully ignorant dumbass.

Thermodynamics- heat flows from hot to cold.

The CO2 gets its LWR from the surface.

How does a cooler surface transfer its heat to a hotter atmosphere?

I'll never understand personalities like Joe. When I'm confronted by someone who obviously knows way more about a topic than I do, my response is to try to learn from them. Joe gets confronted by a herd of people who clearly understand more about evolution and global warming and his response is to lecture, insult, and temporarily disappear.

My theory which is mine and what it is too:

A: Joe's belief in how smart he is about any subject is inversely proportional to how smart he actually is about that subject.

B: Joe believes frequency = wavelength, despite the obvious fact they are inversely related, so clearly A must hold true.

Joe proved that frequency and wavelength are interchangeable in certain contexts. Tony and the evoTARDs choked on it.

Yeah, in ID World they've upended 150 years of science, destroyed the prevailing wisdom, revolutionized everything.

In reality, biologists keep working hypotheses, refining the knowledge, doing experiments, publishing data, making progress, while they're a dozen loons posting on a blog.

What 150 years of science are you talking about?

Why is it that the best evidence for macro-evolution does NOT include a mechanism? HINT- because the posited mechanism is untestable and because of that is not part of science

Inspired by that numbnut who said CO2 doesn't trap heat, which has been known to be wrong since 1896, I wondered what the temp of Earth would be without greenhouse gases. This is interesting:

Quote
At present, roughly 30% of the incoming solar radiation is reflected back to space by the clouds, aerosols, and the surface of Earth. Without naturally occurring greenhouse gases, Earth's average temperature would be near 0°F (or -18°C) instead of the much warmer 59°F (15°C).

NASA: Refining the role of greenhouse gases.

Water vapor is a greenhouse gas, dumbass.

The analogy would be having two space heaters in the room. One set at 80 and one set at 70.

Will the 70 degree heat source make the room warmer than the 80 degree heat source? No

Wow, how can I ever recover from such science and reasoning?

(snicker)

Tell us more about how all science supports baraminology Chubs.

Tell us how adding additional radiated energy to the Earth actually cools the planet.

Show us that ID-Creationist science!   :D

You don't understand science, timmy.

You think that oxygen and nitrogen are greenhouses gasses.

You think that shit holds encoded information.

And CO2 is a natural refrigerant

More CO2 in the atmosphere = more energy re-radiated back to the planet = a warmer fucking planet.

More CO2 doesn't = more energy re-radiated back to the planet. And if the planet is warmer than what is being re-radiated back to it then it cools.

This still has to be one of the top ten stupidest things ever posted on the web.

Radiating energy back to Earth from greenhouse gases instead of having the energy radiate out into space cools the planet.

All time FSTDT Hall Of Fame material.   :D

Wow, your inability to comprehend what i post is amazing.

And your ability to twist what I post proves that you are a desperate asshole

I posted your exact words dipshit.

You're the one stupid enough to think if you add energy to the planet the planet will cool.

ASSMUNCHING LITTLE BOY MOLESTING FAGGOT!!

:D

Yes, you posted my words but you sure as fuck didn't understand them.

And I never said that adding energy to the planet cools it. Again you are just a fucked up imp

If the surface is 80 degrees and the energy being radiated back is 70 degrees does that heat up the surface or cool it down?

And seeing that the earth is radiating more heat than the CO2 re-emits how can the CO2's emissions warm it?

The extra CO2 radiates back to Earth a portion of the energy which otherwise would be radiated into space.

More energy = higher temperature of the planet.

Try to get those two chubby neurons firing at the same time Joke.  TRY.

What? So if I add a heat source of say 70 degrees to a room that is already 80, are you saying the room is going to get warmer? Really?

I have a room at 80.  Will it lose more heat each night if the outside temp is 30 or 40?  What happens if you keep adding the same amount of heat to the room each day, but it doesn’t cool all the way back down every night because you lost less to the outside?

So the earth is now a room? Really?

Analogies.  How the fuck do they work?

The analogy would be having two space heaters in the room. One set at 80 and one set at 70.

Would the temperature of the room ever get to 90 without any other heat source? No

Will the 70 degree heat source make the room warmer than the 80 degree heat source? No

Wrong again dumbass.

The analogy would be you have a space heater in a room going full blast with the temperature outside being 30 F.  With the windows in the room open the room temperature stabilizes and the temperature reaches equilibrium at 70 F.

Heat energy added from space heater - heat energy lost out window = room at 70 F.

Now you close the windows so no heat is being lost to the outside.  What happens to the temperature in the room?

I bet your dumbass can't work that out either.
