Your position can't explain vacillating.

Are you assuming if he said it out loud he would have noticed how stupid it was?

Are you assuming he can read and write without his lips moving?

Feel free to mosey over to Cornhole Hunter's blog where Joke is regurgitating the same stupidity and one-liners he's done for the last decade plus.   :)

I've asked Joke twice why he flounced out of discussion here and he's too "shy" to answer.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

Joke is back to lecturing on AGW at Corny's place.   He came up with this gem:

Joke: "CO2 cannot act as a blanket unless the all of the re-emitted energy is focused back towards earth. And even then that re-emitted energy is limited in range. So it really doesn't help you. The energy all gets swept away well before reaching the earth- winds and convection currents."

There you have it.  The Earth's atmosphere isn't part of the Earth.  And all the trapped thermal energy gets "swept away" by the wind.   :D    I wonder where Joke thinks the energy gets swept to?

It's like he thinks CO2 molecules are these little flat mirrors that have to be oriented in a certain direction so the infra-red photons bounce off at the perfect angle to warm the Earth's surface.

One funny thing is that the outgoing energy does - eventually - get "swept" away (i.e., photons escape), just slower than it would in the absence of greenhouse gas. Without such gases it would be lots colder here, and with lots more of them it would be hotter (which is kind of the point).

He should patent that turd. I suggest calling it Gallian radiation and he claims his winds prevent the SLOT from functioning.  Creationists can use it instead of Isotropic radiation.

Over the edge, I'm guessing.

Looks like he's not going to tell us, because apparently his thoughtful responses here just took too much time.  It requires a lot for him to write:

Quote

All evoTARDs have is sheer dumb luck to explain it.

That's how little you know about science, ke.

Dry ice? All you have is sheer dumb luck to explain CO2.

How could he possibly rant here and at Corny's?

I'll never understand personalities like Joe. When I'm confronted by someone who obviously knows way more about a topic than I do, my response is to try to learn from them. Joe gets confronted by a herd of people who clearly understand more about evolution and global warming and his response is to lecture, insult, and temporarily disappear.

The sad thing is that, with all of Joke’s insults and bluster, I think that I could enjoy his company over a beer or two (might take more). But is there anyone here who would be willing to spend some liesure time with Gordon (LackOfFocus) Mullings, or Philip (i’m Bornagain so you are scum) Cunningham, or Barry (I will take a 17 year old gay kid to court so he can’t give the valedictory address) Arrington? Those three are just reprehensible human beings.

Joke is back on his own blog now arguing that increased atmospheric CO2 actually makes the planet colder.  :D  As support he offers a self-published paper by an AGW denier crackpot named Nasif Nahle whose only apparent "science" experience is in the field of herbal medicine.

Heaven only knows where Joke found this trash.  No, I'm not going to link to his shithole blog but it's there if anyone needs a good laugh.   :)
