RBH Posts: 49 Joined: Sep. 2002 (Permalink) Posted: Jan. 26 2005,19:30    In the 1974 edition of "Scientific Creationism" Morris did a calculation for the formation of a large organic molecule that was exactly parallel to Dembski's calculation for the flagellum.  I wrote an essay in the late '80s for the Ohio Committee of Correspondence on Evolution about it.  Dembski has provided no improvement (! on Morris's treatment. -------------- "There are only two ways we know of to make extremely complicated things, one is by engineering, and the other is evolution. scordova Posts: 64 Joined: Dec. 2003 (Permalink) Posted: Feb. 04 2005,16:39    ICR I think should envy the Wedge and the DI.     Major evangelical organizations at the college campuses have favored Intelligent Design over the ICR message. Forrest and Gross document the strong relationship of ID and evangelical campus organizations. Intelligent Design is the ground breaking operation for creationism. Quote Dembski boldly wrote (responding to Morris): ID is part of God's general revelation. Consequently, it can be understood apart from the Bible..... I've found that it opens the path for people to come to Christ.... Thus, in its relation to Christianity, intelligent design should be viewed as a ground-clearing operation that gets rid of the intellectual rubbish that for generations has kept Christianity from receiving serious consideration.
