The Abu 6500 C3 fishing reel is the lead story of course.   :)

Rant? That's not a rant, it's an opera! He's like the Gaulin of fishing reels.
Dear JC on a Seadoo he's dealing with some serious demons.
Can someone please tell KF you don't fish with a diagram ffs. If you really want one just put your hand in your pathetically shallow pockets and just buy it. Besides my ancient Penn baitcaster has probably caught more decent Mangroves Jacks than he's ever dreamed of. Look at the shiny expensive luxury consumer product and therefore desirable to a third world inhabitant so "therefore god exists" has to be the stupidest argument for the existence of a bronze age deity yet.
Gordo should spend more time with a worm on the end of his rod instead of worming away on a keyboard. What a hopeless waste fishing time.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.  Give him a picture of a fishing reel and he rants forever.

It would be cool if everyone donated $0.01 on a credit card so they would get charged the $0.10 fee for every credit transaction. :)

But then you'd have to give them your real name and CC info so no, forget it.  :(

It is very telling that whenever Barry posts an OP, KF and the other sycophants are quick to leave comments in support of whatever he said. But when he asks for money...chirrup, chirrup, chirrup

I think it's ok to discuss as long as we don't talk about the Designer's currency, when the Designer's transaction occurred, and where the Designer filled out the wire transfer form.

Because at the slightest suggestion that there is any money to be got, someone is going to start a class action suit for shoddy workmanship.

I’m pretty sure it’s been mentioned before but these people have trouble remembering their own history. In her “Anti-science”? post Denyse bemoans the state of science teaching in schools. She asks, quoting Steven Novella:

Quote

Quote
“For example – who gets to determine what is ‘controversial?’ And who gets to determine what is ‘balanced?’”
How about parents and teachers as opposed to bureaucrats and lobbyists?

…which on the face of it sounds like a fairly stupid idea until you remember that the plaintiffs in the Kitzmiller case (a massive blow to intelligent design) were all local parents*.
As the old saying goes, careful what you wish for, Denyse.

*To be fair rvb8, who brought up the case in the comments, also appears to have overlooked this.

Merry Kitzmas, everyone!

And all the original witnesses for the plaintiffs have roughly slouched off to Bethlehem. What remains is a fundy backwash populated by a snake oil salesman who gaily lumbers after hearses, a back pages agony aunt  and a pulpit thumper from an equatorial Western Atlantic slave island. It's angst all the way down to the bottom of the collection plate.

What?  No, I don't get your point.  The school in Dover was promoting DI (etc.) crap, and Kitzmiller and other plaintiffs sued over creationist promotion.  IOW, it was parents (with teachers) getting involved that brought on the Dover (and the DI as a major promoter of pseudoscience) defeat.

But I'm not sure to which comment you were referring, so maybe this is off base.

The Manjack Heights Mauler is off on another rant.

Just as long as he doesn't flounder...

... and he knows his plaice...

I cod have guessed there'd be a pun cascade.

There isn't any probability that the letter d is in the word "mathematics"...  The correct answer would be "not even 0" - JoeG

Good thing that they aren't talking about the fine tunaing of the universe.
