That signal (GW170104) was verified three weeks ago making it the third detection. I can't read the Forbes article for the paywall so I don't know what the criticism is. Dude got 3 (three!) Best Novella nominations; 1 Best Short Story nomination; and 1 Best Related Work nomination. Alas, all five of Wright's nominated works were in categories won by No Award.
