Not just biology-ignorant. Add grammar and grantsmanship.

And geography.  Manchuria isn't a peninsula.

DaveScot had a totally *new* and *original* insight into the way things really are:
Quote
In fact I, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, have written on UD about the notion that humanity’s purpose is to discover habitable earth-like planets and design vehicles that can deliver single-celled life to them. In other words we are the means by which bacteria can survive the inevitable turning of our planet into a cinder when the sun becomes a red giant a few billion years down the road.
If it wasn't suggested before (and I really can't be arsed to check right) now, I think we should christen (D'oh) this "the selfish bacterium" model.

Oh yeah, and Barry just churned out some more crap about how you can't emulate human minds in two or three lines of visual basic or something, again.

edit: emphasized sarkiness.
edit: given "tongue in cheek" qualification, maybe whoever first mentioned selfish bacterium was him. If so, D'oh again. I stick by my Barry remark.

Once again we all owe Dr. Dr. Dembski a debt of thanks for demonstrating that the scientific output of "intelligent design" is exactly ZERO.

After 153 comments the number of cases where ID has made a prediction that has been subsequently proved is...

... drum roll please! ...

ZERO!

Absolutely NONE.

You know, when you ask for comments and the most reasonable comment comes from Larry Farfarman it's going to be a long night.

I actually can't argue with the response they've given me. I asked for a dna protection mechanism and they gave me one, even after I bullshitted about forcefields and completely made up the term 'retroamino introsposon'. I fail at tard-mining. :)

Ha!  That's Beautiful!  Don't give up dude!  Be the little engine that could.

You just have to keep preaching about your ID discovery "retroamino introsposon", and that the Darwinistas wont let you publish.  Before you know it, you'll have posting privaleges at UD, you'll be working on your Oscar acceptance speech for your impassioned defense of your "research" on Expelled.   The DI will give you an office with a view and Ben Stein and Dembski will get in a fight over who gets to buy you drinks and take you home.

Ah yes, life in the exciting world of ID.  Retroamino intoposon all the way down.  Go with it.

I don't sockpuppet, but I understand the instincts of those who do. These ID Creationists are such humongous losers, what else is there to do, but have fun with them?

We've entered year number three of the defunctness of the exciting ID journal PCID. Remember ISCID, the International Society for Complexity, Information and Design? They were going to have a journal, conferences, seminars, etc? The only activity I can locate for 2008 on their website is 12 comments on Brainstorms by John Davison. If that's the best brainstorm they got, you can turn off the EEG machine and call it.

I'm looking through the thesaurus right now because 'failure' doesn't fully describe these ID losers. I'm torn between 'collapse' and 'fiasco'.

Perhaps Dr Dr D's list of answers is going to be the meltdown.  Maybe something like this:

Quote
Here's my list of confirmed ID predictions:

Astute UD readers, if I have any, will note that the list is blank.  That's because I've decided, after much prayer and discussion with my pastor, lawyer and accountant, that the jig is up.  It's time to accept that our attempt to theocratize science has failed, and that although there may still be money to be made, the trend is inexorably down and I can't keep milking this forever.

If any of you have any money left, feel free to drop by next time you're in the Bahamas.  Goodbye, and thanks for everything.

Dr. Nelson - Why are you linking to noted Darwinist Abbie Smith? She is the female graduate student that had the temerity to point out problems with Dr. Behe’s book. She has also instigated trouble for Dr. Dembski by bring up Dr. Dembski’s illegal use of material from Harvard in a presentation Dr. Dembski made to the Univrsity of Oklahoma.
Ms. Smith has been banned from posting on this board, so I do not think that you should give her and her Darwinist cronies the satisfaction of increasing their traffic, or of potentially having someone from this board visit her sight and lose their faith, or lose their faith in ID.

Christ, if that "ID Predictions" thread didn't cause even the True Believers to lose their faith in creationism Intelligent Design, I don't think they have much to worry about.

Besides, I seem to remember a couple of people blogging about traffic from ID sites...
