Joe's got 2 news posts up at untelligent reasoning giving you the scoop on Joenetic Algorithms.

Don't forget this blast from the past:

Quote
oleg- I get it- you are too stupid to think outside of your simple-minded box

Look at it this way- Star Trek: Next generation- Lt Data was able to rewire his neuro networks due to the algorithms INSIDE OF HIM

If today’s programmers could figure out a way to get the GA inside of their organisms, they would- now they are doing the best they can-

What an utter dip-shit!

I wonder how hard he tries to pretend to understand what he types?  My guess is not very much.

Muskrat blipey, muskrat Rich
Rich says to blipey come and be my bitch
And they shimmy
blipey's so skinny"

"And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin' and jingin' the jango
Floatin' like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love"

yeah baby....

Hey Joe, I see you're back.

Anytime you'd like to talk about the information content of those gene sequences, just let me know.

Anytime you'd actually like to talk about science, just let me know.

Walking down the street I saw a crowd of people. Mostly wearing lab coats. Or carrying heavy tomes. Or writing them.

All the people were focused around something in the middle of the group.

I pushed my way towards the centre. The focus of all the attention turned out to be a drooling idiot.

I'm done with Joe. Whatever it started as for me, it became practice for me dealing with idiots. I'm hoping to start a consultancy soon and if I can deal with Joe and not lose my rag, I can deal with anybody.

I feel I've achieved that now, or at least as much as I can with Joe's help.

So Joe, speaking for myself, I don't engage with you because of your sparking wit and innate intelligence. I engage with you because you are the opposite of those things. And now we're done.

I would ask you one last thing however Joe.

Make a list of your actual achievements in the culture wars.

Then post it so I can have one last laugh.

I agree; Joe's run his course and has become boring.  I, however, still have one last Joe moment still undone: I want to meet him.  I hope that one day when I'm up in *cough* New Hampshire he decides to stay in his mostly empty parking lot and I'll bring him a beer.

Interesting. Over at UD Harry Barrington poses a question: NEW CONTEST: Describe the Cell (warning - UD link), and Joe has this response:

Unfortunately I have been in a few and they have all been different. Not much technology, just a flush toilet, sink with working plumbing and a light.

A joke, but real experience behind it?

As there has been no news coming out of Los Angeles pertaining to Coppedge vs JPL I can only assume my prediction has come true- this is a very boring trial. I have been in a few trials and I can attest to their boring nature.

My guess is multiple convictions for standing in the middle of the street reeking of booze and piss and offering to fight passers by.

Either that or a string of lawsuits issuing from the concerned parents of traumatized children following one of his Intelligent Design Awareness days.

Describe the cell...

A basic unit of life.
Capable of self reproduction.
Capable of performing all the functions required for life (or in the case of multi-celled, differentiated organisms, at least containing the instructions for all the functions required for life).
Capable of independent growth.
Capable of internal metabolism.

How's that?  And yes, everyone knows he wants someone to say 'machine'.  Like that actually matters...

Aye - I don't know why he does not bore himself shitless. He sees far more of his own repetitive, Tourettes-infested gibberish than anyone else. How many times can one prod people to go into some evidential detail on a subject one barely grasps, come back and say OBVIOULSY YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE a few times, before going stark, raving mad? I guess the answer is 0<N<Joe's post count.

Hats off, Joe, the troll's troll, ubertroll.

Joe,
You probably don't realise this but you are in the same baramin as Bornagain77.

You are the low level, low intelligence ID supporter that everybody ignores even on the pro-ID side. That's why you spend the majority of your time with the enemy as your friends are too insipid to disagree with you.

And they can't disagree with you anyway as there are as many versions of ID as there are ID supporters.

So, Joe, you are Bornagain77. Ignored by most, those who don't ignore you are poking at you with a stick to see how deep the stupid really goes and you are not supported in any meaningful way by your own side. Never have been, never will be. Just another fly circling round the shitpile that is ID/UD.

Your pitiable "Did you see that KF, did you did you KF? KF?" pleas for attention at UD were simply ignored, as I documented at the time. Vastly amusing.

For a long time I wanted to see Joe break down just one wall. The tens of thousands of $$ of free education he's had must find a chink in his armour at some point. But no.

Joe is impervious to reason and proud of it. Attention is all he craves. He must have had a lack of it in his life, and no wonder.

And Joe, it's vastly amusing that on the threads on TSZ where you don't even understand what people are talking about (which is, let's face it, most of them) you are reduced to picking out key words and finding quotes from Behe et al that also include those key words, and then not even commenting on why those quotes are relevant.

I specifically asked Joe if his kids know what he does and he say yes, and they are proud of him. If only he was not lying about his "Intelligent Design Awareness days", I'd fly over for that court case.

So Joe, if you want to continue this in person then by all means let me know. Otherwise, I look forwards to the court case. Or your sectioning. Whichever comes first.

Still in moderation, Joe shows us the awesome explanatory power of design:

Stars have that negative heat capacity because they were designed that way.

In a universe governed by blind and undirected processes would we even have stars?
