Thought we had a thread for this sort of thing but I don't remember what it was called and I can't find it.

Anywhos, starting next month, I am back on the road crisscrossing North America, where people have accidentally signed up to let me teach them things.  If I'm in your neighborhood, I would like to buy you a beverage of your choice and learn things from you.

In the past, I have met with Lou FCD, almost (but not quite) DaveScot, been in the same room with FTK, barely missed a Chicago gathering of AtBC, and other fun stuff.  So, obviously, I want to try to do it right this time.  If you're up for conversation and libations of any kind, let me know where you are.

FTK: I Didn't answer your questions because it beats the hell out of me.

PaV: I suppose for me to be pried away from what I do to focus long and hard on that particular problem would take, quite honestly, hundreds of thousands of dollars to begin to pique my interest.

Fairfax, Virginia chiming in! Though to be a bit more charitable (I mean...Fairfax isn't exactly the epicenter of the cultural or intellectual world and not exactly where most people "pass through") I am only about 30 minutes outside Washington, DC.

Of course not.  That would be Doncaster, People's Republic of South Yorkshire.

Just finished having a nice lunch with Blipey on his way through the DC (well...Virginia) area. Always good to meet the folks behind the discussions. Next time I'll be sure to have dancing girls and whisky for your travels Blipey. But the company was good regardless. :D

Excellent Vietnamese food and conversation with Robin in the DC-ish area.  Slowly meeting the AtBC crowd is pretty cool.  Now if only I could get JoeG and DaveScot to grab a beer.
