I wanted to bring to light the recent response by J. Witt of the DI to my original "Sternberg saga" review and subsequent "lingering questions re Sternberg" post.

Hat tip to Elsberry for already revealing one egregious misstatement by the spinster.

I've been doing a fair bit of work this weekend and will be leaving in the morning for VA for a week and a half, so any/all help I can get from bloggers willing to point out errors (on my part too) I would really appreciate.

... priceless - they were wrong, and it took a court ruling to prove it to them they were wrong, and they can sort of disregard it anyway.
Watch them use this line of reasoning at Dover.

uh, that's not what was indicated in the investigation at all. �perhaps Witt should re-read the report?

or is he saying that Sternberg was acting correctly when he bypassed protocol to help publish an article that shouldn't have been published in the first place?

oh BTW, what happened to Sternberg, eh? �lose his job did he? �get beaten up for his beliefs did he?

hmmm, seems he lost his chairmanship, among other things.

(has interest in Sternberg really been so low that there's no more recent thread on him? Poor guy)

I have the Biologic Institute in my RSS feed, and a new blog post cropped up. Nothing exciting. But I browsed their pages, and found myself at their People page. And lo, what do I see for the "expelled" Dr. Sternberg?
