She also got an email from Jeff Medkeff, who's a former editor at Sky & Telescope magazine, asking if he could quote from her post, The NSTA Is Feeding Us A Line for his podcast science program, Blue Collar Science Of course, I emailed him back to explain Janie's "situation" so that he didn't get blindsided. I haven't heard back yet, so I'm not sure how he'll react. Or perhaps the silence is indicative of that reaction. There was a TV version of the film "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (More Guy Ritchie pseudo London gangsterism) in which they did pull off a scam (admittedly unethical and badly done) which has on darker nights appealled. One hires a venue for a Strip Night. One advertises for auditions (high class, no boilers). One conducts and videotapes the auditions. It is then up to one if one retains said audition tapes for personal perusal or sells them for a modest profit, thus recouping one's inital set up costs. Now I'm not advocating such an enterprise, all I'm saying is that I have to regularly smack myself about the head and neck with my conscience and marriage certificate to prevent me doing it. The girls have been internally de-listed by WordPress on a whim, and can no longer be found on WordPress' category pages or even via the opt-in only Friend Surfer built into WordPress.  It's a service that lists recent posts by bloggers specifically selected by the user. They are being censored, and I need to cause as much of a stink as I can to get them re-listed.
