But I have something even better for you!  You can always (and honestly) say your work is "cheer-reviewed" meaning other IDiots have read the paper or work in question and cheered you on! So, Casey Luskin, put an icon on your IDC press release page that says "Cheer-Reviewed" and you'll look sciency. Demsbki you can do the same. Rich has a logo for Cheer Reviewed, and they could easily steal insert in on all their papers, but I think John W's idea of pier reviewed also has a lot of promise to it. Nomad Posts: 311 Joined: July 2007 (Permalink) Posted: Feb. 07 2008,01:10    They can still use peer, just in another meaning, as in "I could only peer at it from a distance, because it would have made me nauseous to read in depth, but I still put it up on the web page because it comes to the conclusion that I want it to". This could lead to a whole new paradigm of scientific review.  Glance review.  Why spend time reading entire papers when you can just glance at it and put your rubber stamp on it. Think of the time that could be saved.  Think of all the extra research they could do.
