Look – it’s going to be hard to admit when you’re wrong when you accuse someone of “insane denialism”. I know you can’t possibly backtrack now. It would indicate that what you call “insane denialism” is actually a reasonable alternative interpretation you failed to foresee, so you really have no “out”. But whatever gets page views, I guess.

That's Bully: Out on a limb with no way to crawl back.  Don't worry though.  In Barryland, insults constitute an effective reply to any evidence or argument.

It's not just that Arrington "failed to foresee" Darwin's Fourth Edition. He failed to read what Darwin said before pronouncing on what Darwin said.

So Barry's position now is:

What Darwin said <> What Darwin said

That sounds familiar.

Any version of ID consistent with all the evidence is indistinguishable from evolution.

Well, it's been 10 years and evolution is dead, ID has won, etc.  Nothing left to do really.

Go to the "About" page and it looks like he's left the Discovery Institute too:

Through 2014, Dembski was a full-time research fellow with Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Cultureas well as Senior Research Scientist with the Evolutionary Informatics Lab

I think he's going to miss that stipend.  I wonder if he left voluntarily or if he was "eased out the door".  If he publishes the home phone numbers and email addresses of the Board of Directors of the Discovery Institute we'll know it was the latter.  Personally, I think that even the intellectual powerhouses that helm the Discovery Institute have figured out that if you get booted out of Baylor University and the Southern Evangelical Seminary you are not too shiny a symbol of ID'S intellectual dominance of Science and Culture.

One good thing though, "SES awarded him an honorary doctorate in 2011", so he's Dr. Dr. Dr. Dembski now.

In the "Design" section, Dembski lists his current employment:

"Entrepreneur who builds educational software and websites."

Yup, he's going to miss that Discovery Institute stipend.

Wait, wasn't "designinference.com" all simply Microsoft Word exported as HTML? Not exactly website design IMO.

Which was fitting since Intelligent design is just the Logos theology of John's Gospel exported in the idiom of information theory.

I would love to debate him.

Hey dembski, since you likely read this site I have a challenge for you. Why don't you open comments on your blog, and how about a thread where just you and I can debate your bullshit about atheists and your imaginary 'God' (yahoo-yeshoo-holy-spook)? Surely a courageous expert such as you (LOL) can easily crush me in a debate and show that I'm not really an atheist, eh?

Nah, I spend most of today “mapping genomes” as an evolutionary biologist. It’s only through the methods of evolutionary biology that many of the results you talk about here are even known.

As to this
Quote

Darwin’s faithful are thus reduced to endless terminological squabbles about what “stasis” or “primitive” mean.

No evolutionary biologists squabble about the meanings of these words. That you are Barry don’t know their biological meaning is hardly our fault.

It’s funny how Lizzy speaks with such authority, as if her words should be taken at face value and respected because they are coming from a superior being. I got news for you, Ms. dirt worshiper. In the end, you’re nothing but a clueless, math-challenged, dirt worshiper and you belong to a [DELETED] cult of other equally clueless dirt worshipers. 😀

Maybe, maybe not. The actual designinference.com website is currently off the net, but its remains are preserved at the Internet Archive, and it looks to me like it's pretty much bog-standard WordPress. Which is also not much of a testimonial to the Great Design Power of the Isaac Newton of Information Theory, of course…
