carlsonjok Posts: 3326 Joined: May 2006 (Permalink) Posted: Dec. 14 2009,22:21    Okay, all you Church Burning Ebola Boys (and girls), this is a last minute announcement of an informal After the Bar Closes meet-up at the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio at 9:00 AM this coming Saturday, December 19. I am heading Back East to visit my parents prior to Christmas and I am stopping in Dayton, OH to meet up with the infamous khan and tour what is one of the coolest museums on the face of the earth.  If you live within a few hours of Dayton, and can make it, PM me. -------------- It's natural to be curious about our world, but the scientific method is just one theory about how to best understand it.  We live in a democracy, which means we should treat every theory equally. - Steven Colbert, I Am America (and So Can You!)

You have to take a bus into the base to get there, so sign up early, as soon as you get to the museum. I had my 12-24mm lens with me and still had to take a series of shots and stitch them together. I took a bunch of pictures, but being a (very) amateur photographer**, they are going to need a lot of cleanup to be presentable.  I am up in Cleveland visiting my folks and heading back to OKC tomorrow.
