Denyse talks about Denyse in the 3rd person

Ripping off Joey Campana’s valuable backslider on the REAL relationship between Denyse O'Leary and Denyse O'Leary, Denyse O’Leary suggests that there is a power struggle going on over at Denyse O'Leary, with funding for fundy Denyse O'Leary as a key bone of contention. How else to reconcile the views of honcho Denyse O'Leary and honchess Denyse O'Leary? They are not singing from the same hymnbook. :p

UCLA Chair in Sexual Orientation Law — That’s Okay; UCLA Chair in Intelligent Design — No Way

Speaking as an alumnus of UCLA, there'd have to be an actual science of ID first -- with, y'know, like all those pesky pathetic details such as, oh...say, actual testable models, or falsifiable theories/hypotheses, a genuine research program that's not dependent on fallacies like God-of-the-Gaps...that sort of thing.

Better set aside your propaganda campaign, shore up your pitiful mathiness and get crackin', Billy...if you're not too busy ducking cross-examined testimony, that is. Gutless wonder.

In the meantime, I propose that you create your own UCLA endowed chair in ID, Billy -- one that's suited to your actual produced "science"...say a nice big, fluffy invisible pink bunny chair.

cause, uh, that's typically how one actually GETS money from a granting foundation.

Indeed them must.  How else them keep Darwinism not sink?

The MorphoDyke is more clever than we give her credit.  Why just the other day I was talking to a scientist friend of mine about research funding.

I asked "what do you think of this Templeton bru-ha-ha?" and he started to turn red in the face, I noticed sweat building on his forehead and his hands began to tremble.  Then his teeth clenched as he whispered, "We won't rest until we have ALL of the Templeton money!  We won't share it with ANYONE!  We want it ALL, ALL I tell you!  The flames are near the front door, if we don't get ALL the Templeton money the flames could take over the entire materialist complex!  First we'll get ALL of Templeton's money, then we'll start on our program to take all the money in the world!  Ha ha ha ha!"

At that point he started laughing in the most sinister manner until he started coughing and hacking up phlegm.  This creeped me out so I came up with an excuse to go home.

The MorphoDyke is crazy but she's hit the nail on the head on the materialist conspiracy to take ALL Templeton's money first, and then all the money in the world right after.

Let's hope the MorphoDyke and sodomites succeed in stopping the materialist!

We need to archive the ISCID website. At some point they're going to take it down. With its ambitious talk in 2003 about conferences, workshops, essay contests, which have all failed to materialize, it stands as a stark contrast to the reality of 2006. It's like walking through an abandoned building.

I have to recommend the new-fangled "fuzzy logic" rice cookers. We're talking perfect rice here. Every last grain. Any kind of rice. Just pick it off the menu and add water to the line for that kind of rice marked on the non-stick pan. So far I've tested it with long grain white, brown, and a multi-grain with barley, oats, and a few kinds of rice. I'm trying out the "porridge" menu setting right now using the multi-grain and water to the porridge line. The multi-grain was a big hit with the wife & kid last night. It's about the size of a toaster and doesn't get warm on the outside at all. I think tomorrow I'll go to the store and get some sushi quality fish and make a batch of sushi rice

With his mushrooms and his rice expirements I'm begining to think that the Biologic lab IS the Immobile floating command center

Fuzzy logic is awesome, I love 'obsession' from Nothern Exposure.

I'm working on a new version of Fuzzy logic called unbound fuzzy logic that shows Dave is 980% Tard and Arden is 340% gay (But only 72% fabulous).

I'm also working on Fuzzy Login which happens when I have to change my passwords too frequently.

Freedom of Religious Expression Protection Act of 2007
DaveScot

....The act prohibits the award of attorney’s fees in 1st amendment establishment clause cases which are characterized by citizens suing the government (federal or local) for things like having a cross in a city seal, a monument with the ten commandments in a courthouse, or (directly relevant to ID) putting a sticker in a textbook saying evolution is a theory not a fact (Cobb County), or telling a biology class that there are criticisms to Darwin’s theory of evolution (Dover).

Here are three things that are alike:

- A depiction of the Christian cross.
- A monument depicting the ten commandments.
- Statements promoting intelligent design.

Thank you for clarifying that.

With his mushrooms and his rice expirements I'm begining to think that the Biologic lab IS the Immobile floating command center

News update:

This morning at a Corpus Christi marina an old fat man was seen carrying a device about the size of a toaster with a wire dangling down to his knees onto a moored dredger.

When asked what he was doing he said "I'm baking a cake" the marina gate security became suspicious.

The FBI were called and surrounded the dredge.
The man demanded that he be allowed to see his mathematician.
The FBI were amazed to hear that the so called mathematician worked at a local bible diploma mill.

The suspect also demanded a bag of cellulose be left in the rear cabin "to bake in his fuzzy logic cooker".

The FBI fear that a new brand of theorist is trying to undermine the fabric of society, with indoctrination centers disguised as religious learning centers and clever reuse of hi-tech cooking equipment to fabricate previously unknown weapons of myth distraction.

More at 11.

...edit: Hmm on second thoughts that should be Myth Deduction...as in the Myth says a god created everything the deduction being the Myth is true because the myth says so.

This site is intended to be a safe haven for students honestly interested in knowing more about ID. We do not want these students to be harassed. If you're not a student please try Uncommon Descent. While the rules are not specifically listed the intention for OE is that it's "mostly" limited to students who are interested in ID. I say "mostly" since there are several adult ID proponents from UD who are here to add content and to moderate.

Any blog posts or comments that betray a purposeful distortion of Intelligent Design or that equate ID to Creationism will be deleted without notice. Quite frankly, Darwinists are not welcome. Attempts to sneak under new user names will not be tolerated.

Now if you're a student who is a Darwinist we do make allowances based upon good behavior. Otherwise I'll have to ask you to refrain from posting on OE but feel free to join UD.

And how, pray tell, does Patrick expect to tell apart real students and trolls when he's got people like TRoutMac and O'Leary as his most prolific writers?

Maybe I should head on over there. I am a student, after all.

And if you were a member of a married couple busting your butt raising kids with at least one partner sacrficing significant income you’d wonder why a couple who aren’t capable of making the same sacrifices as you should get the the same privileges all the while INCREASING your tax burden along with the tax burden of everybody else in the community.

Sing it, brother! Those darned homosextors and their tax breaks! Designer only knows we'd ALL like to get jiggy with our fellow gendermates, and score some cool deductions for ourselves while DOIN' it, but he11, SOMEONE'S gotta raise the children.

Um, seriously, what in the world is Tribune talking about? How are gay people increasing his tax burden? What sacrifices can he and his spouse make that gay people can't? I'll have to tell my lesbian friends who fostered a little boy and then adopted him that they don't know the meaning of the word "sacrifice."

Tribune7 just went from "goofy" to "odious" in my book.

Trib, if you're reading this, good for you on raising a kid. My wife and I are doing the same. Folks who want the same rights you and I have are not the enemy.

I rather think he is just projecting the burden they cause his fragile little mind.

maybe he should just ask Tardmaster for a bag of cheesy poofs?

as to avatars...

under the banner graphic in the upper left, look for your handle followed by a link to:

Your Control Panel.

click on that and then on the link to

personal info

you'll see a link towards the bottom of that screen where you can click to enter avatar information.

in that screen, go towards the bottom and enter the web address where you store the image for your avatar

finally, click the button at the bottom that says something like "use my avatar".

done.

ahh.  well, if you have an email address, then likely your internet/email provider gives you at least a little webspace (it's typical, anyway).

so you can either check with your internet provider to see if you have some space to upload stuff, or you can go to one of the many free upload sites (which I never use personally, but others here might give you some good suggestions).

once you manage to upload your graphic somewhere, then just plug the addy in that form and you're set.
