Over on the Uncommonly Dense 3 Thread, cogzoid mentioned his role in one of UD's greatest moments:
Quote
As a bragging right, I asked DaveTard the question that he famously answered by saying that he violates the SLoT every time he types.

That gave me the idea for this thread.  What was your best day in the tard mines?  What tardsploits will you be bragging to your grandkids about?

Don't be shy.  Let's hear about your best moments. And give us links, if possible.

I'll go first.

My two best tard-mining moments were:

1. 1/09/06: I become the first person banned by DaveTard at UD.

2. 12/15/2006: I prove that Dembski is the voice of Judge Jones in the infamous fart video.

Also, your best moments need not be direct tard encounters.  Amadan's Faith and Flagella certainly qualifies as a great moment.

You are teddibbly, teddibbly kaynd.

My favourite moment during my brief (and long-since obliviated) career as UD's one-and-only resident atheist ID proponensist was this, in which I attempted to introduce a new popular meme to describe the movement.

For some reason it never really caught on.

Personally, I have always been in awe of olegt's outing of Marks as Galapagos Finch. I'm sure that he will provide the links, but that was surely a fine day in tard-mining history.

My highpoint was my first UD puppet (and you always remember your first) Gary Larson insisting that BA^77  would go to hell for not being religious and holy enough.

Comments banninated and vanished into the Privileged Planet ether unfortunately.

Lowpoint - Realizing that all my comments, even if they were the best ever, and worthy of Pullitzer / Nobel double winning, would always be 2nd best to richardthughes # 1,000 post. *

* Unless Denyse accepts the marriage proposal of an as yet unnamed puppet and plans to elope to Montesserat with him and/or her.

** Or if Bill Dembski responds to a future UD puppet post and admits that ID is a total scam, and yes, he is in it only for the money, and it's always been all about the money.

Getting banned from EFT for having the audacity to tell them, you know, "sciency stuff" and telling them off.

I'd post a link but I guess I'm permanently banned.

But what a peak it was! One of my favorites!

I put quite an effort in a lesson on Fourier theory for Sal - but this was especially futile, though fun...

I can't post a link because it has disappeared from the intertubes. But my personal highlight might be the discovery that Behe had inadvertently left comments enabled on one of his Amazon blog posts. I posted the first comment, asking about Abbie's points re Vpu and new functions of mutated proteins, and the floodgates opened. That thread attracted Joe G for a while, but he gave up after a sound flogging on his notion that "design=mechanism".

Other highlights might be showing FtK that her understanding of anti-freeze and globin genes in icefish was a tad flawed, but I'm too lazy to find that thread right now. And it's really too easy to flog FtK (bless her heart) on biology, so it probably isn't something to brag about.

Sorry, I have to disagree.  Flogging FTK was fun, and her flouncing and flirting made it even better.   She was as clueless as Palin, though maybe a little bit better than Palin at communicating her crazy ideas.  So, all in all, flogging people like Palin and FTK is a very good thing.

Funny you should say that. During the looonng thread, i always envisioned FtK as a blond Palin (Sarah, not Mickael. Mickael is almost God in my book)...

My one and only entry into the TARD mines was when Dembski claimed Jeffrey Shallit was withdrawn from the Dover case because Shallit was a liability to the ACLU in the case. My comment had something to do with the timeline of Dembski’s deposition, and his expert witness report.

It was a very minor mix-up on my part about the timeline but had the Dr. Dr. 3 times to infinity so hopping mad that he responded directly to my comment.

I later found out Dembski’s lie about Shallit being withdrawn as a liability was only street theater on Dembski’s part.

What a good actor he is!

Bravo for exposing Dembski's voice.

Darwin bless you my son!

Jack Inhofe, BTW - I had to swear to Clive baby that it was a real name before beiing "granted" poster status.  The shallowness of the UD crowd helped, because that asshole Rep Senator from OK, Jim Inhofe, is very close to Jack Inhofe.

And yes, that comment from Denyse, admiring a Hugh Jass, was priceless.

thanks for remembering :)

Well, back when I actually socked over there, my favorite moment was, when the some of the contributors over there were deciding that Poachy, who was me, was a troll, I threw them off the scent by outing Leo Stotch as a troll. Of course, Leo was also another one of my socks.

Imageshack is having problems. I think their server is an old Atari ST.
