Mike Crotch - Banned for Being right - and this close to Christmas too.

What they need is to Seymour Butz over there...

Actually I think their moods would improve greatly with a visit by Amanda Hugginkiss.

Where it all began...

I especially like "Holden McGroin".

Excellent Research !  I'm looking forward to after they all register at UD, THEN we'll see finally see some REAL answers and responses.

It will be a moment for perpetuity when BA^77 responds to Connie Lingus's demands for deep searching questions and probing for answers.

Wow, that's just amazing.

Who would have though that the IDiots at UD could sink so far into the slime that DaveTard would be the voice of reason?

The Bathroom Wall? Nah, that's now the Official Daniel Smith thread.

More's the pity. We've appealed to Wes for clemency, but he is stony and stoic in his rejection of our pleas.

Mind you, Danny has been an utter arse, and the Wall is probably the best place for him.

I have been thinking about some hacking to provide a mechanism to send particular user's contributions to their own particular threads. Unfortunately, hacking takes time, and I don't see getting much "spare" of that sort for a while yet.

O'Leary:

Ideas have consequences: Jesse Kilgore

Here’s a podcast with the father of 22-year-old Jesse Kilgore, who killed himself after reading The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.

Too bad young Jesse did not give himself a chance to read Alister McGrath’s The Dawkins Delusion. My thoughts and prayers are with all who knew him. No doubt there was more going on than we know.

It’s a very sober reminder that, in a world where many believe that young people care only about text messaging aimless gossip, some take the critical questions deadly seriously.

In a very different chain of events a lttile over a year ago, a young Finnish social Darwinist killed himself and eight others , in an event reminiscent of Eric Harris at Columbine.

I wonder if any of the UD ass sucking sycophants will ask about the thousands of gay Christian teenagers who have committed suicide over the years after being rejected by the Church they trusted and told they are evil sinners who will burn in hell?

Domoman announces the results of his careful research:
Quote
That’s sad about Jesse Kilgore.  I heard suicide rates increased in one particular country after Sam Harris released “The End of Faith”.

Can someone 'splain to me how suicide is the "right answer" if you've been convinced by a book that there is no other place to go to, that this world is where we must make our mark, that our significance is in our own lives lived well?

So sadly far of the mark.

Yes, it's a telling criticism of this research that they used glass beads swished around, but glass beads are not found in nature. Patrick really told us to pound sand with that one.

I wonder if it's a call-in show.

The 4:00 show is Crosswalk with Gino Geraci and the contact number is 303-873-1935.  There is a Listen Live link at: http://www.947krks.com/

This could be fun.

Edited to fix URL -- thanks, keiths.

This could be fun.

From an article on Gino Geraci:
Quote
Voted ‘most likely to go to hell’ in high school, Gino’s life was in a tailspin until God showed him that His Word is true from the very first verse. ‘In high school I was not just a pagan,’ he told Ken, ‘I was an antagonist of Christianity. I would find Christians and figure out ways to humiliate them because I was so anti-Christian.’

Gino explains that his ‘paganism’ grew out of the lack of belief in absolute truth: ‘When children are left on their own, if there are no rules, if anything goes, anything will go.’

At the root of his relativism was evolution. He says his indoctrination into evolution occurred at a very early age. His fourth-grade teacher took him to see the famous paleontologist Louis Leakey1 at a fossil dig in the nearby Mojave Desert. That was where Gino found his first fossil, an experience that began his ‘love affair with evolution’, reinforcing the idea that there is no God and you can do anything you want.

P.S.  Maya, your link is broken (at least using Internet Explorer) because there is an extra '.' at the end.

This one should work:  http://www.947krks.com/

There is some ambiguity because KRKS operates both an FM and an AM station, and the 4PM slot is Geraci for the FM and Hanegraaff for the AM. Anybody know which Arrington will be on?

The FM station is the one that is streamed live, so it should be Geraci at 4:00 PM.
