Roulette wheels are designed. Therefore, any sequence of numbers that comes up on a roulette wheel must be designed.

Substituting "faith" for "salary" explains a lot.

No, I think it's right just the way it is, viz. Behe et al.

The problem with software that supposedly demonstrates mindless, accidental evolution in action is that it makes clear, as johnnyb is saying, the exact opposite. There is an intelligently designed utility company providing necessary electricity to the computer the software runs on. The computer was intelligently designed. The computer’s operating system was intelligently designed. The program running on it that is supposed to demonstrate mindless, accidental evolution in action was intelligently designed. It is absurd, no matter what results the execution of that program produces, to then exclaim, “Look at what can happen mindlessly and accidentally!”

I am really disgusted at the results of my flight simulations using computers.  20,000 feet up, you release the computer, and the damn thing simply plummets to the ground.

I've had two dogs, at opposite ends of the size spectrum, that immediately chewed the squeaker out of toys. They bypassed all other forms of play and opened them up. Once the squeaker was gone, they had no further interest in the toys.

If we removed the squeaker from the tone trolls, would we still want to play?

The 'humble' christian ba77, who always admits when he's wrong, says:

"Piotr, do you know that you really can be a condescending little prick sometimes? I bet you have heard that before!

[...]

Moreover, I catch you making outright false claims, in regards to actual empirical evidence, all the time to defend your atheistic worldview, but you never admit you are wrong. At least I have never seen you humble yourself when you were shown to be wrong. You just go on to the next lie that you will tell. IMHO, You are an absolute disgrace to science!

Other than that, I’m sure your mother probably loves you! Maybe! :)"

I made the mistake of clicking the Bornagain77 link in his reply to one of my comments at UD and was directed to his Let ther be light pages.
A single post of more than 110,000 words which equals to about 250 word pages that gained 2 (two!) comments since Thursday, February 23, 2012.
I just wonder who's the bloke from Englewood, Colorado who visited the site earlier today?

I guess when you read all posts of BA77 pages you know everything he knows. It's only six posts:

Intelligent Design - The Anthropic Hypothesis (>97,000 words, > 200 pages, 6 comments since October 19, 2009)

Cambrian Explosion - Refutation Of Human Evolution
(> 115,000 words, > 250 pages, no comments since Wednesday, August 4, 2010)

Christian Apologetics (< 25,000 words (!), < 60 pages (!), no comments since Wednesday, October 5, 2011)

What evidence is found for the first life on earth? (> 80,000 words, > 200 pages, no comments since Thursday, February 23, 2012)

Let there be light (> 110,000 words, > 250 pages, 2 comments since Thursday, February 23, 2012)

That's almost all. But wait for his newest:

At comment #11 he claims the the UK imposes its TV licence fee by the threat of physical violence.

My google says something close to 200,000 people are prosecuted in a year for nonpayment.  How would adamant refusal to pay ultimately be resolved?

No beatings, as far as I can tell.

I think Barry's using the hard-core libertarian trope that any government action is coercive physical violence.

Yes he is, but the word violence has been devalued recently. Used to be you actually had to hurt somebody, physically.

My relationship to television is a bit odd. I'm in America and mostly watch old BBC shows on Acorn. I don,  t watch any broadcast shows and don't have  cable. I wuld not be happy being taxed for owning a television.

I am taxed for the internet service.

With his despicable belief system (christianity) that is based on coercion and physical violence (threats, stoning, dashing babies against rocks, the 'fear of God', plagues, genocide, ecoside, slaughtering entire cities/cultures, and many other forms of horrible punishment including eternal punishment for disobeying 'God's' tyrannical demands/commands) arrington is in NO good position to bitch about coercion or physical violence by ANYONE for ANYTHING.

Barrogant wouldn't last a minute in the UK. People like him are not a protected species here

And as far as the TV license fee goes, it pays for what is still ( for all its faults), one of the best broadcasting services in the world - radio, TV and internet - vast content for around 2 quid a week.
