Ah yes, thanks for stopping by FTK.  Always good to know that you are immutable and impervious to thought.  That's quite a brave position for someone who claims to be as open to learning you pretend to be.

You got lonely and decided to see if the subhumans would play with you.  You didn't bring anything new to the party--still the same old avoidance of anything resembling an answer, still pretending to just have missed the questions you don't want to answer, still making wild claims about others and not owning up to them (or even acknowledging that you said them in the first place).

You aren't thought of poorly (by those who actually have those feelings) because of your ideology; you're thought of poorly because of your total disregard for discussion and logic.

Congrats on the couple days of play.  If you don't flounce, you might become a star again.  Most of the others play a game that's even more boring than yours.

In case you change your mind, I've added a couple of questions to your list.

She's only going to move here...if it's farther to the right.

Ba-Dum-TISH!

And as far right as her abortion and LOVE Baby Jesus stance is, that is NOT gonna be easy.

Alright, FTK.  Serious question.  Which people who murder adult human beings should we not punish?

Your position that abortion is murder but not all abortionists should be punished indicates that you think some people who murder living, breathing, functioning, working, playing adults should not be punished.

For clarity, which murderers are those?

Look we all know it, FTK is a deeply confused, mentally negligible, religious zealot. What's causing her to have clear and massive cognitive dissonance here is she is obviously hearing one tale from pastors/her religious community and actually thinking for herself to some degree. Said dissonance leads to the tellingly confused mess she has posted on the other (hopefully soon to be split...sorry for the work folks) thread.

The odious strawman she touted that if people don't approve of anti-choice religious zealots "monitoring" abortion clinics, then not only will we get more atrocities like the Gosnell case but therefore people must approve of the events in the Gosnell case. Wonderful.

FTK appears sufficiently clueless, sufficiently stupid, to have failed to realise that the Gosnell case (partly) arose precisely because of a lack of decent oversight. The oppositions to legal abortion in the USA lead to lack of proper funding for oversight/regulation, lack of proper monitoring in this case. Add that to the downright evil and sloppy nature of Gosnell's work and you get a perfect storm. Religious zealots, vehemently opposed to abortion are not the people you want monitoring abortion clinics. You want a well managed system of medical professionals and social workers. You don't put incredibly stupid and zealous foxes in charge of the chicken house. Guess what? Places in the world (you know, outside the USA) where this sort of system is in place have vastly lower incidences of Gosnell-esque issues. Gosh, it's almost like people have thought of all this before! Shocker!

FTK also appear unaware that one can disapprove of what happened in the Gosnell case and remain perfectly pro-choice. No one wants what that guy did, simply no one. And she's unaware that "criticising religious anti-abortion zealots" is not the same thing as "wanting no regulation of abortion". Seems like someone needs to stick a fork in FTK, she's done.

Again.

That's what gives me some hope, Louis.  I sometimes get the impression she's standing at the border fence of Fundistan, looking out longingly at Reality Land.

On the other hand, what she's doing is also consistent with simply equivocating to avoid defending her position.  "Abortion is murder, but don't punish the perpetrators" sounds a lot like "Walt Brown makes some good points, but I don't know whether there was a global flood".

Ah yes, the famous Ftkuivocation. It's like trying to nail down smoke. And she wonders why people question her intellectual integrity and (ahem) "gifts".

I won't claim to have always had a place in Reality Land, but I've never lived in Fundistan or it's close neighbour GoshI'mSoModeratesville. I'm not the best person, therefore, to speak about the move away from a largely religious mindset. From what I've read though, FTK's "symptoms" are not atypical. Mind you, they're also not atypical for someone trying to avoid the cognitive dissonance of having their bullshit claims torn to pieces every time they put manicured creationist soccer mom* digit to keyboard.

In other words, I agree with you entirely. 'Tis a pickle and no mistake.

Yes, I forgot to ask her about who should be in charge of abortion clinics.  She clearly stated that pro-choice people should not be left alone to do the task.  I'm fairly certain she wouldn't mind anti-abortion people left alone to do it, however.  Of course, she would equivocate and spout something about being open to all sides of the issue...

How about it, FTK, would you be okay with anti-abortion folk having total oversight of abortion clinics?

I would question why, if this were the case, she felt the need for an ideological test for the people who would oversee abortion clinics.

Well, sure, but one often wonders about the decision making of FTK.  I'd be interested in hearing her answer and how effective she thinks anti-abortionists would be in overseeing abortion (if indeed that is what she thinks would be best, and I'm not saying for sure that it is).

That broad can avoid answering questions anywhere. She's a veritable poster child for vacillating, hand-waving and disingenuous drivelling.

And flouncing. Never forget the flouncing. I may have said this before, but FTK is like a really bad case of herpes. The minute you think she's gone, she flares right back up again.

Actually, I'd be a lot more grumpy about where I live if it happened to be east-central Illinois, J-Dog. Folks who say that Kansas is flat and boring have never been to the Flint Hills (where I live, see image below), and certainly never been to east-central Illinois, which is truly flat and boring.

<BUMP>

FTK is back and even more precisely as unpleasantly stupid and bigoted as ever!

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

Quote
I stand by my position that a bunch of sexual deviants proudly and publically displaying their way of life is no less disgusting than the act of a pedofile.

Because, apparently, being flamboyantly and publicly homosexual is equivalent to fucking a child. Yay!

Here's a little scenario:

"In crossing a heath, suppose I pitched my foot against a homosexual couple, and were asked how disgusting the act they were engaging in were; I might possibly answer, that, for anything I knew to the contrary, it it was pretty disgusting to me personally: nor would it perhaps be very easy to show the absurdity of this answer.

But suppose I had found a paedophile raping a child upon the ground, and it should be inquired how disgusting that act happened to be in that place; I should hardly think of the answer I had before given, that for anything I knew, the paedophilic act were more than merely personally disgusting. There must have existed, at some time, and at some place or other, an act of violation of consent, who raped the child for the purpose which we will not speculate upon; who, despite the act perhaps being that between a male and a female, every indication of consent, every manifestation of ability to engage willingly, which existed in the child, is not present in the act I encounter..."

FTK is, frankly, too fucking stupid, to be able to distinguish between "some act that I find personally unpleasant" and "some act that is a deliberate act of violation AND is personally unpleasant". This "it's all perversion" horseshit is merely a smokescreen for her bigotry. I remain unfooled. If she can't see the difference between "two consenting adults engaging in an act she dislikes" and "one adult violating a child unable to give its consent" then there is no hope for her. I might have said something like it before.

Yep, morals are relative.  You finally figured it out.  Only took, what 30 years or so.  Good job!

In case you were being sarcastic (I never can tell with some people), how much, on average, do you beat your slaves.  Just curious.  I mean the Bible has pretty danged explicit instructions on that.

Just out of curiosity, why are you down on pedophilia, I mean, if Biblical soldiers are allowed to take as many young virgins as they can... what's the difference?

Oh yeah... moral relativism.  What's acceptable then is not acceptable now.  Shame they haven't updated that book you worship.
