Hey, Jim

Happy Birthday, and I hope that lots of colorful birds visit your feeders today. If not, just have a couple of margaritas, and they will at least seem more colorful!

Thanks to all. I especially like the Louis's idea of not being dead.

Not being dead IS an exceedingly good thing. Being dead severely impacts one's golf handicap and can put a crimp in an otherwise august and noble drinking career.

I've heard, although yet to confirm it, that not being alive is less than conducive to one's sex life also.

Bear these important things in mind as you celebrate not being dead for another year.

I was concerned that my deliberately humourous comment would elicit necrophilic postings from some members of the community.

I have been away, and just got back in time to wish you a late good birthday.  So, how long will it be before you start yelling at the neighborhood kids to stay off your lawn, think that Iraq and Pakistan share a border, and confuse Suni and Shia?

You certainly have a way with words.

As I was able to navigate I-40 from the beach today, should I celebrate my "non-accidents"?

:)

Happy birthday Jim

Absolutely!

lcd, there is an annoying little unchecked check box just below the message window where you type in your message, that asks, "Do you wish to enable emoticons for this post?"

You have to check that to graphicalomolize your smilies, and if you preview your comment, you have to re-check the damned thing.
