One of these days we'll have to play a game of mafia on the forum.

Expliquez vous, s'il vous plait.

Louis

It's a social game that is easily played on a forum like this.

[SNIP explanation of rules]

I like it.

Can I invite people from UD over to play and kill them?*

Louis

* NOT SERIOUS!!!!!!! In any part or sense.

Gordon throws a flask of Oil of Ad Hominem on the floor in front of the Balrog.  He casts a Spell of Summon Monster and a Straw Man appears nearby.  He waves his Wand of Fireball at the oil, causing the Strawman to ignite and give off a Cloud of Obfuscation.  The Balrog disappears inside his own Prayer of Self-Refuting Materialism.

Heck, I didn't even mention the Scroll of Lewontin.

Try the fallout series - same engine but set in a post apocalyptic world. Very immersive.

Hear hear! Good recommendation, Richard! Love them all, but 3 is just outstanding!

I have always recon'd that I will play in "a post apocalyptic world" if I live long enough.

For now I want dwarfs, elves, dragons and magic swords.

3 was good; in the middle of New Vegas and not enjoying it as much. But like 3, just when you think you're done, a new avenue opens up, as it were.

The dlc for NV is great.  The "Haunted Hearts" (IIRC) was ok, but the sci-fi drive-in was a lot of fun, and the casino one was very nerve-wracking, even for my 35+ level character.  A lot of fun, and very engrossing.

I wouldn't mind.  I couldn't play much, but I'd like to.  As long as it's an inexpensive game.

What's happened to my world?

No Leisure Suit Larry (Larry Laffer) or Myst?

First time I played Larry Laffer was on a brand new portable Compac (somewhere around 1988) with orange plasma screen, the next morning my entire back and the back of my arms were red, but I felt no discomfort. I've never experienced anything like that before or after that incident. Strange.

(Edit typo)

I quite enjoyed the Myst series. I was miffed when the latest one repeatedly crashed in Vista. Bleh.

I'm afraid that poor Deadman is now an altaholic.  He has a rogue, a priest, AND a druid in addition to his main and his jewelcrafting alt DK.  Sucker.

I, meanwhile, made a Horde toon yesterday.  I feel so dirty...

Sci-fi drive in? Really?  Dr. X will build a creature, etc...

Honest Hearts was ok, I liked the new recipes.

Mothership Zeta for F3 was just a big DOOM episode; Into the Pitt was slightly more entertaining, though I thought the arena would be harder. Currently enjoying the very beginning of Point Lookout.

35? Jeez. I sure did the dlc's in the wrong order. Plus I get confused from one game to the other: "Where's my alien epoxy? Oh, right..."

I play solitaire when I can't sleep. WOrks in about 10 minutes usually. Other than that, I am not even interested in facebook.
