Joe,

However Zachriel and OMTWO cannot grasp that and instead blather on and on about "random with respect to fitness", which is a total cowardly cop out. Ya see the point is NOT whether or not mutations are random wrt fitness. The point is whether or not the mutations were directed in any way.

Also Joe in the same post,

This experiment demonstrated that the resitance to anti-biotics was already in the population when the anti-biotics were introduced (put on the plate).

IOW the resistance did not come in response to the exposure.

Simple question then.

If the resistance did not come in response to the exposure then why did the communication spark the variation that afforded the anti-biotic resistance at a time there was no anti-biotic?

I also mentioned that He'd have to give me a thorough explanation as to *why* I must "eat human babies".

Hey Joey,

You know what they call alternative medicine that works?

"Medicine"

BTW: There's some issues you need to address on the previous page.

Oh ye of little TARD....

It's all just water at the end of the day, unless you freeze it of course :-)

Geez this guy is not just a Tard he's dead stupid.

Joe must think a placebo is used by archers.

And you accept that all mutations are pre-determined given a specific enviroment???

Also I'm sure the author wrote to Lenski before hand telling him of the CIT+ mutation that would occur should he go ahead with his experiment.

I never said, thought nor implied mutations are pre-determined. "Built-in responses to environmental cues" does not require them to be pre-determined.

If anyone wants to play with Joe, he's socked it up on my new blog here: http://skepticink.com/smilodo....-giving

Feel free to weigh in, but be nice.  Show the community that we're better than Joe.  Just flood him with questions and evidence until he melts-down.

Let's get a good Friday meltdown going...

Well, joey certainly showed off some of his ignorance and arrogance in that thread on your new blog. He continues to amaze me with his incredibly stupid assertions and his unearned air of authority. 'Incorrigible' doesn't even begin to describe joey.

How about some fun with some classic joe g:

"Also archaeologists are saying things about ancient astronauts- and for good reason."

What's the good reason joey?

"The evidence for abstract designers is that there is evidence for paranormal activity, eg ghosts."

"As I said the evidence for ghosts means there is evidence for non-human agency."

Tell me more about the "evidence" for ghosts and other paranormal stuff joey. :O

"We have evidence that intelligent entities exist or existed other places than earth.

Also ID INFERs they did. And ID would be OK if we were descendendts."

What kind of intelligent entities and evidence?

"As for evidence for UFOs and ancient astronauts, there is plenty. Great Britain opened up its files and there is more than enough in those alone."

Ah, that kind.

"And yes paranormal events have been investigated and I would love to see any skeptic go into some of these places- I get to choose."

I asked you long ago if you'd like to make a big wager on that and you never responded joey. You're not afraid to bet on it, are you?

"As someone with a relatively strong background in encryption I understand the importance of differentiating between meaningful information and random nonsense."

Come again?

"I'm still working on the hows, whys, whats, wheres, whens of the observed design in living organisms on Earth."

In your basement lab? And what results has your 'work' produced so far joey?

"CF:
Wait... what? JP, do you need to be told where babies come from?

John Paul:
Well I know nature had nothing to do with mine."

You know what joey? I believe you.   :p

"Well you can’t please everyone and there will always be a few crackpots."

Yep, that's true joey.

For anyone who doesn't know, john paul is joe g.

ETA: more tardy goodness

Joe,
Quote
"As someone with a relatively strong background in encryption I understand the importance of differentiating between meaningful information and random nonsense."

If this were indeed true you would immediately have noticed that one of my documents (as per my recent little game) was just a random sequence. Each character has an equal chance of being selected at each position.

The other document is quite different however. But given that so far you've been unable to even tell them apart I hold out no hope that you'll tell me something, anything about the other document or even identify which is which.

So, with 50% of the answer given can you tell or is ID just a nonsense bluff?

So what do I do? Support my claims and ID and watch hiim choke. Kevin asks me how to measure information. So I tell him. He chokes. Kevin asks me to see if an organism has CSI. I show him. He chokes and bans me. He sez I won't support ID in the same thread that I support ID.

Here's a link to the blog show (http://skepticink.com/smilodonsretreat/2012/10/18/lenskis-lab-the-gift-that-keeps-on-giving/).  Show me where you calculated or measured the CSI of an organism.  Direct quote, please.

Show me where you measured the information in anything.  Direct quote please.

Show me where you supported ID, direct quote please.  Because, no fewer than three people begged you to support ID... and you didn't.  Just like you haven't for 30 months.

At his blog (belligerent lies of gallien) joey hacked up:

"Kevin asks me how to measure information. So I tell him."

What exactly did you tell him about how to measure "information"? And let's see you measure the "information" in a banana and an aardvark and show your work. You can do it, can't you?

"He chokes."

Wrong, but you, on the other hand, have been choking on your hacked up IDiotic hairballs for a long time joey.

"Kevin asks me to see if an organism has CSI. I show him."

He asked you to "see" if an organism has CSI? Or did he ask you to measure/calculate the CSI in an organism? And what exactly did you "show" him? Measure the CSI in a banana and an aardvark joey, and show your work.

"He chokes and bans me."

See above about who chokes, and who the hell are you to bitch about being banned?

"He sez I won't support ID in the same thread that I support ID."

He's right joey. You didn't "support" ID in that thread or at any other place, ever. It will take a lot more than the projectile vomit you and your fellow IDiot-creationists spew to "support" ID.

"That more than proves that Kevin is a clueless coward. But then again we have known that for years."

Says the crybaby coward who has never had a clue. And who's "we" joey? You and your ticks or you and the voices in your head?

BTW TSZ- part of defintion of “artifact” is that there is no good natural explanation. And yes part of coming to a design inference means that there is no good natural explanation.

Let's open Merriam–Webster:
Quote

Artifact:
1 a something created by humans usually for a practical purpose;
1 b something characteristic of or resulting from a particular human institution, period, trend, or individual.
2 a product of artificial character (as in a scientific test) due usually to extraneous (as human) agency

The standard definition of an artifact is not something that cannot be explained through a natural mechanism. Instead, it is something that is positively tied to human agency.

If Joe had bothered to google the word "artifact", he would find the etymological meaning is "made by skill" and the origin of the word was specific to objects created via human skill.

He has previously reported it at 150.  I believe it's much earlier in this thread, about the time he thought we were jealous of his car.

Of IQ doesn't have anything to do with actual intelligence.  It's more of cognitive function.  So even if he wasn't lying (and he is) it doesn't mean he has the knowledge or wisdom to do anything with it.

The distribution graph for IQ stops at 150, which means, according to Joe.  He's in the top 99.999% of the population of the planet for IQ.  And if you believe that, I've got some land that you might be interested in.
