Thanks!  I just put this on my Must Read list.  And by this I mean Religion Explained, NOT The Spatula Brain.

The penultimate page.

Questions abound:

Does Ikonboard have a lurking P1K problem, like the Y2K problem (that never materialized) eight years ago?

Should we celebrate the first post on page 1000, or the last? (Let's face it, we all celebrated 1/1/2000 even though the new millenium technically didn't begin for another 366 days. Those that pointed that fact out were branded nerds.)

If Ikonboard "resets" at 1,000, does the topic (UD) likewise reset, through some unknown quantum tunneling process that only born^again^77 can explain? And if so, would all the banninated posters and sockpuppets come flooding back? Where will they all sleep?

Will dogdidit quit spamming the thread trying to get the page count up to the millenium?

Dunno if I am ready for the mead and wenching tonight. I'll have to clear that with the wench.

For some reason that reminded me of the scene from Ghostbusters where the EPA shuts them down (damn dirty liberal hippies) and all the ghosts escape into the air from the old firehouse.

The page-stuffing going on in this thread is shameful.

Our ten fingers are just an evolutionary accident.  If we'd evolved eight fingers, the celebration would have happened 487 pages ago.

So, what do we win if our post is the first one on the 1000th page?

Or is the award going to be rewarded when it's the 1001st page?

After all, the 1001st page would be the correct one to give it out on.

For a frog to have wings would require an increase of genetic information, which is impossible.

Thanks in advance.

Aww, 1000 pages... I stated reading this thread just before 100, and thought that was a crazy number to reach. Still, the tard will out.

I'll be whoever gets to kiss Ms. Weaver.  I've had a crush on her for a long time.  Even if that means I have to be Dr. Peter Venkman.

Sigourney Weaver has been married for 24 years and has one child with her husband.  Should you really be talking about a married woman and mother like that?  Don't you have some rule about coveting or whatnot?
