If you all would speak and discuss things in a reasonable way, and actually follow the posting rules here, a real discussion might be possible.
Rather than constantly and only bash religion, why don't you guys let good science speak for itself? If you know of some well done science that isn't full of inferences, mistakes, fraud, or just plain bullshit, use it as your arguments.
And what the fuck happened to enforcing the rule below? Why does such a phony rule even exist? All this board is meant for is attacking religious beliefs.
So, Kris, what do you want to talk about? Science? Religion?
The floor is yours. Please make a point. Then a rational discussion will no doubt follow.
If you guys (and science) were as smart as you think you are you'd be working at finding EFFECTIVE ways to get GOOD science across to the masses.
Millions of people are on the internet. Millions of people are alive because of developments in health science, vaccines etc. Seems to me GOOD science has got across to the masses already. If the masses want to then believe that prayer cures cancer then so be it, as long as they go to their scheduled radiotherapy sessions it will indeed cure cancer.
It isn't going to happen if all you do is bash religion.
In fact stupidity is bashed. It just so happens that those being bashed also profess a religious belief and have entwined that belief into their stupidity and so hitting one hits the other also.
Who designed the "intelligent designer" Kris?
Do you believe that the "intelligent designer" is not "God" Kirs?
Do you believe that "intelligent design" should be taught in schools Kris?
Hmm, let's see, you created a thread where you say I can "make a point" and that "rational discussion will follow" but then you load a bunch of your own shit into it and try to put me on the defense right off the bat.
Nice try, but I'm not going to play your asinine game.
