I don't think any of us have ever provoked a Gordshite meltdown.
Obama just did exactly that.

Quote
And yes, the evil that is now upon us, homosexualisation of marriage and family -- thus, of community, education and law -- in defiance of the patent creation order, is the full moral equivalent of slavery.

Quote
Likewise, we should note the implication of "members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together."  It should be quite clear from reading between the lines that Mr Obama has long immersed himself in the ideology of the homosexualist activist sub-culture.

Quote
So, should the law now be perverted to pretend that marriage -- a key aspect of creation order for humanity (as the very complementarity of the sexes testifies) --  can be extended by human fiat to same sex unions, that will be what is taught in school, and what will be enforced by the police, by force of law. If you disagree, you will be deemed the moral equivalent of a racist bigot, and subjected to criminal prosecution. Indeed, eventually, you will be seen as a scapegoat for social ills.

Quote
And of course, that ugly issue will be twisted about to blame the victims of the persecution: fanatical bigots, wanting to turn the clock back, hating those who are different from themselves, etc etc.  Sadly, we have been down this sad and dangerous road to persecution before, and Stephen has had many who have followed in his shoes. Worse, even this will be twisted in hostile minds to say that there is a stubbornly hostile and probably insane persecution complex here

KF's mind must be a dark and frightening place. "Insane" definitely was on the list of adjectives that I considered while reading that. Although I enjoyed the part about Obama being immersed in the "homosexualist activist sub-culture".

As expected, it's all the fault of those evil scientists:

Quote
Yes, the erosion of the moral fabric of our society traces to the imposition of evolutionary materialism in the name -- and under the false colours of  --"science."

Okay, that does it, I'm going to get down on my knees and pray to the volcano gods of Montserrat and beg them to open a lava spewing fissure right under gordo's computer chair, while he's sitting in it.

The "ugly issue" was the birth of gordon elliott mullings, the monster of Montserrat. His putrid existence almost makes me believe that the devil is real, and living in Manjack Heights.

See this archetypical post from 2005, the last paragraph in particular.

I would absolutely love to play a game of chess, in person, with that bloviating gasbag.

You're certainly right about his insecurity. I guess having a monstrous IQ (LOL) can't make up for having no balls.

He just can't stop talking about how super smart he is:

IQ, Puzzle Solving, and Darwinism

Quote
Many years later, upon reflecting about and remembering this event, I asked my mom what this was all about. She told me that as a result of an IQ test I had taken (they did that back in those days) I had scored the highest IQ ever recorded in the local school system at my age level, and my parents were asked to give permission for further testing.

Wow, Gil, tell us again about your checkers program!

Yeah, and tell us what really happened in that room with that strange man.

Don't worry, it was so beautiful it was well worth repeating.

Seriously, that douchenozzle is so goddamned stupid he gives me a headache halfway through the first paragraph of every single one of his barely-contained masturbatory rants of self-loathing homosexuality. It's like peering into the tormented soul of some poor brain-dead sap chained in the lower levels of Dante's Inferno.

And worse than all that, he's fucking boring on an epic scale.

The trick is to just scan a KF text for new stuff. 50-75% of what he writes is either c&ped from what he's written before, or the same quotes from Plato, Provine, Lewontin that he inserts in almost all of his posts. I also skip everything that's numbered or lettered. That is how he marks that he is repeating what he's said before in the same post and the ten comments before, only now with more non-sequiturs. Equally, everything that starts with NB, F/N, or PS is a repetition, with sprinkled on crazy.
As a result, you are left with maybe 10 % of any given KF text that you actually have to read to know what he's saying. Of course, generally no one wants to know that (I'm convinced that even the UD regulars start scrolling as soon as they see a comment of his).
But in this case I was actually interested in his reaction to Obama's affirmation of gay marriage. Sometimes I have a morbid interest in the unadultered crazy. Probably a character fault.

How do I know that? I know it because the Bible will never contravene a fact, therefore, if it appears to, I am misreading it. How do I know that the Bible will never contravene a fact? Because the Bible is inerrant.

Au contraire!  (With thanks to SD for the Frenchy-fied addition to English..)

What you call a sad statement is actually funny, and the reason I come back here day after day.

The sound of the UD Screech, loud as hell and signifying nothing.
The scent of nonsense soaked in Oil Of Ad Hominum.
The putrid stink of a Stephen B or Barry A post.
The delicate mis-placed egotism of Gil Dodgem.

And I just realized I am now driven to chaneling Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music! - Gagh! GAK! UD BAD!

Stop linking me to porn!

Or ... try googling "The soaked ad hominem is then ignited by snide or incendiary rhetoric, to cloud, confuse, polarise and poison the atmosphere."

No end of paraphrases of that appear, mostly KF-on-UD, but with a few on the pro-evolution side that have adopted variants for funzies.

I wondered how KF managed to type so much so quickly. It's all Post-o-matic. One is led to ... er ... other people with a remarkable similarity of style - eg this, "Dictionary" in the Bajan Underground:

Quote
Please, the fallacious abuse of the loaded word “racism” serves only to drag a hot distractive red herring across the track of truth, and to lead it out to a strawman soaked in nasty ad hominem personal attacks; which on being ignited poisons, clouds and chokes the atmosphere with polarising smoke.

Here, boy! A red herring! There ya go ... now follow it to this pile of straw where ... I'll just get me lighter ... Whump!

Is ID about God's interventions? Here is Timaeus:
Quote

I would agree with you that Dembski, Meyer, Wells, Nelson and others all insist that God “moves the particles”. Even Behe may privately believe (though he has never made it part of the definition of ID, and to my knowledge has never explicitly argued it in his books or articles) that God has done a bit of “moving the particles.” But the case of Denton proves that “IDists” is too general. And probably — though it’s not certain — Sternberg would fall in with Denton on this point. And Dave Scot. And others who have posted here and at Telic Thoughts.

So, that's pretty much everyone whom one can call an ID insider scholar. What of the exceptions? Denton has never been part of the ID movement, and the ID luminaries at one point poo-pooed his stuff precisely because in he latest book he junked interventionism. And Dave Scot? Oh, come on!

KF keeps running away from Hunter's blog, and making whole posts about one comment there.

Quote
All, duly rubber-stamped by a bi-partisan group of state governors [say the magic word: "consensus"] and a sprinkling of some captains of industry.

Any properly trained Alinsky Rules for Radicals method “Community Organizer” would be drooling at the prospect.

Could be one of my favorite. Bipartisan governors, Dupont, Cisco and Saul Alinsky. Which of these is not like the other?

Wonder if he know anything about Alinsky, and his work, or just the right wing talking point Alinsky=bad.

So what does KF propose as a solution?-Saul Alinsky style community organizing:

Quote
So, the first thing is that there needs to be a broad, community based programme of education in origins science from a design theory perspective, independent of the materialist ideologue-dominated systems. (Try this for a first, rough draft.)

Such a programme should target two main groups: (i) educators for the new approach, (ii) students needing a balance in their science education that will counterweight the indoctrination they are going to get anyway. In addition, it should target the sort of community leadership that will be the core of the critical mass to get an alternative going.
