Quote (OgreMkV @ Sep. 22 2010,15:36) | My understanding is that he is basically saying, "Humanity is in a privileged frame of reference and that the stars provided the light from their current position to Earth in zero time."
sigh...
in other words something supernatural happened. |
I think it's an example of creationists showing their scientific versatility. Not only can they produce meaningless nonsense based on information theory or probability, they can do it with relativity too.
Let's see: 1. Relativity shows that simultaneity depends on frame of reference, Therefore if we: 2. flap our arms wildly while exuding self-confidence, and given the fact that: 3. at least 99% of our readers won't have a fucking clue what we're on about, but will be impressed with all the talk of light cones and the pictures with arrows on them, then: 4. all the light from everywhere arrived here at the same time, goddidit, and the universe is only 6000 years old.
All that remains now is for batshit77 to link to the youtube version.

There isn't any probability that the letter d is in the word "mathematics"... Â The correct answer would be "not even 0" - JoeG
