You know youve been powned when...
News has a post about two Canadian Siamese twins joined together at the head.
Aha! One brain, two minds, therefore: Jesus! ... or something. O'Leary is often not the clearest thinker.
No surprise there. But then, out of the blue, a reply that makes sense: Quote | The conjoined girls have distinct brains; each has her own frontal lobe, lower brain stem and cerebellum. Their brains are connected by thalamic bridge; a piece of tissue that makes them share SOME sensory experiences but not all. The girls have distinct personalities and tastes…
How does one test whether the girls have the same or separate consciousness? |
Holy shit! This must be some non-UD sock speaking, right?
NO!!! It's J-Mac!!!
J-Mac, a poster so dense that even Mung thinks he may have played football without a helmet, has posted something that makes sense!
Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes... The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!
This is it people!! it's the end of the world!!
Then, in his next post, he gets off on quantum entanglement and "[If] the law of quantum information conservation says that quantum information can’t be created or destroyed, then it would explain why most people whose major part of the brain is surgically removed, do not suffer any loss of consciousness."
... and the world is saved and we have an "explanation" for how the average UD poster can sometimes do complex tasks such as operating a light switch, on a good day, with proper training.
