AD is a member here, and he speaks English rather well.

Looks like the blog is called "Devils' Advocate" and the blogger is an attorney. He already links to AtBC, PT, etc etc.

Yeah he's one of us.

EDITZ: just saw Lou's note above.  Ok I get it now.

Just for fun, I ran my blog through InterTran, English to English.

Crowded Head, Cozy Bed

translates to

Many Precede Cozy Receptacle

it just gets funnier from there, but that might just be my fatigue.

ETA - Medical Merry Go Round translates to Remedial Drunk GoRound, but hysterically, MySpace Retards remains unaltered.  What else can you say about that?

[snip]

He preferred that recommendation to Plan B (rehab), which he's keeping in his back pocket for rainy day.

(Jeez, that was a f*&#ed up sentence I just wrote.)

Two davetard meltdowns in less than 24 hours

Two deleted/locked threads at UD in less than 24 hours (due to davetard's tardic behaviour)

1 UD tard fight that included davetard and DLH

Have we struck davetard gold this week or what? I wonder if he's trying some new medication or something.

Dr Dembski’s ID predictions? Yes, we’re all keen to hear those. After all, one key thing that a scientific theory - like ID so totally is - does is to make testable predictions.

I am now slightly more confident that my hypothesis (ok wild guess) about Dembski being the real genius behind the link modification to PTET, is correct. Still Semprini (language timothy!) has provided a new one.

Mr. Christopher, I had a feeling that this month's Tardfest was part of UD's Darwin Day festivities, but I guess I was wrong. It looks like we're having an all-year Tardfest in preparations for Darwin's 200th Birthday.

I don't know. I agree with him with regard to animals, even though I am a little less in denial where my sirloin comes from.  I was cheering him on as he took down that chucklehead, Mapou.

So why did I post my post: (1) To indicate that there is great interest in our issue and that the same New York trade press is willing to publish both sides of the issue. (2) To offer some titles that I find amusing and that seem to capture more accurately what Dawkins’s book is likely to be about. (3) To work in, albeit awkwardly I admit, that crazy ad about Dean Sachs looking to Mammon as a spiritual provider.

4. To insinuate that Dawkins is motivated by greed rather than intellect.
5. To give the old Materialist/Materialist equivocation a bit of a run, 'cause some of our dopey readership will be taken in by it.

It looks like "Salvador" is Finnish for "Ointment". If that's true, that's almost the funniest thing I've seen all day.

"Slimey Ointment".  There's something disturbingly poetic about that.

I must say, I was also curious about the TV show you would be on. To be honest, I was hoping it would be one of the more credible programs like Glenn Beck or Bill O’Reilly, and not an America hating liberal windbag like that Olbermann idiot.

I certainly hope you will publish this in the next issue of Progress in Complexity, Information, and Design. When is the next issue coming out, anyway?

ID predicts that … most structures will exhibit function and thus serve a purpose.” Isn’t there another slightly longer-established theory which says that things must serve a purpose to remain in the population?

“Moreover, ID theorists have applied these results to actual biological systems to show that they are unevolvable by Darwinian means.” Please elaborate, Dr Dembski. We are agog.g ag

OKAY PREDICTIONS:

1) Stuff will work. ("Can't evolution predict that?" "No, it can't!")
2) Cells will work especially good.
3) Darwinism sucks. We've got disproof, but you can't see it. Also I'm a real mathematician, and I'm important, and I'm well-established in the engineering literature.

Seriously, is Olbermann interviewing him? Olbermann can be kind of a jerk. If Dembski cries on national TV, it might hurt the movement.
